As hopefully everyone knows,

tv_talk is available for posting TV related meta. That includes both recently written meta as well as any older meta you've written.

The March Meta Matters Challenge involves identifying and copying over meta you've created to a second site in order to ensure its preservation. There will also be several prompts for creating new meta. ( Read more... )

Leverage: Redemption is coming back for season 3! And this time on Amazon Prime!! We’re so excited to be back to work in the Leverage Universe!! from Dean Devlin's twitter. Dean had been hinting news was coming soon, so I was keeping an eye out for just this!

Also, if you hadn't heard, a new Librarians TV show is coming with a mostly new cast. He managed to sell a show in the thick of the writer's strike, which is impressive.

If you'd like to follow news about the show and the cast, I run

leverageinternational. With the changing winds of social media, and also a recent account hack, I maintain a number of resources and links off of the profile page including confirmed accounts of actors, writers, cast, crew, etc. The loss of twitter verification was... a mess for people like me.

The Halloween season is the time for recs! Fics, vids, graphics, meta, anything and everything fandom has produced in all the Whedon fandoms will be on offer at

buffyversetop5. We'll be reopening on October 20 at midnight UTC (what time is that for me?) and running through midnight November 2.

There are so many options for TV viewing and TV fandoms! Here at

tv_talk we encourage discussion of any shows, but we also want to highlight your other favorite Dreamwidth communities that focus on TV fandom, whether one show or many.

What are your recs for Dreamwidth communities that focus on your fandoms?

...for year 3! The

marchmetamatterschallenge is focused on not just new meta, but making sure older meta gets a chance to be read and remain a part of fandom history.

While new meta is also encouraged, the priority for Meta Matters is to make sure meta doesn't vanish with sites or personal accounts when those get closed or moved. That's also why the challenge will be using the Archive of Our Own as a destination site and collection host.

This will be a month-long event kicking off on March 1 with bi-weekly check-ins. March Meta Matters will close on April 1.

Wow, over 100 comments on our last post! TV chatter ranging all over the board - I lost count of the number of shows people mentioned, but it was a lot! I've been inspired to try and check out some new things.

Based on some of the feedback in the last post, I'm going to try to compile a somewhat regular round-up of TV things found on DW as well as include some general links that members might find useful or interesting.
