Did not like the way season 2 ended at all.

I second this. I thought the show deserved better than to be airly dismissed as a "low-budget GoT clone" ... because in all the ways that mattered (to me, at least) it was not.

I'm a bit sad to see Please Like Me go, but at the same time it didn't really have anywhere to go, and I think all the stuff with his mum in the last season was really brilliant and a good way to go out.

I'm properly surprised by Pitch, and not just because I love Mark-Paul Gosselaar and his beautiful beardy face. Pitch was really good I thought.

The one I am probably most cross about is No Tomorrow which is weird because it's not a show I loved that much, and it wasn't anything very special, but it was just quite a solid light show and I really liked some of the characters and I quite liked the cross between workplace sitcom and all the end of the world conspiracy stuff. I think it was a good enough show to run for a few seasons even if its plot would have to stretch pretty thin. Also her lesbian colleague had about the only canonical lesbian relationship I have ever cared about on television, and as a whole she was just one of the best things about television.

The one I'm most happy about is House of Lies because it's awful but I've been watching it anyway because I really like Kristen Bell. Pretty much EVERYONE in House of Lies deserves better than House of Lies.

I agree, I thought Pitch was really good too! I think it could've fared better if it had been given a different time slot.

I loved No Tomorrow! I thought it was really cute and fun and I adored Evie, she was adorable.

While it would have been interesting to see where Damien went for a second season, I'm okay with it being cancelled. S1 kind of worked as a self-contained 'television event' sort of thing.

I kind of wish Emerald City had gone for the 10 ep 'television event' though. With just a little tweaking S1 could have felt like a full story, even with the last scene of Lucas returning to Kansas to tell Dorothy that Oz needed her. I would have liked to see more of this show but.. *sighs*

I'm not surprised Sleepy Hollow wasn't renewed, but its cancellation makes me sad. As did the fact there were basically no fandom spaces you could go to discuss S4 since most people just wanted to comment on Abbie's fate and nothing else. *sighs again* I hope the cast moves on to bigger and better things.

I'm still not over the cancellation of Blunt Talk. I loved that show, especially the second season.

It was! Brilliant writing, witty characters and a lot of fun in general. I wish they'd gotten a third season, it's really sad that Starz pulled the plug on it.

I feel like Conviction was one of those shows that could have really proved itself in season two, once it was settled in a bit and a bit more at ease. I think a lot of shows only really come into their own then, and it's a pity there's no time for things to do that any more.

Totally agree. The networks are so quick to cancel something before people even realize it's on.

I loved Conviction. I'm still upset about it. Especially because I think a lot of online fandom people would have liked it if they'd given it a chance and it could've potentially been saved. Sigh.

I think a lot of people were waiting to see if it was going to be cancelled or not. The problem is that unless you have a ratings box, it doesn't matter if you watch it or not. I hate that shows are judged this way.

I loved The Catch, it was such silly fun. Bummed about The Blacklist Redemption, Pitch, Eyewitness, and Sweet/Vicious as well.

I'm really bummed about Pitch too. I was hoping for another network like Hulu to swoop in and save it but alas.

Yeah I thought the second season of The Catch was so strong. But the glitzy retro nighttime soaps really struggle these days, for some reason.

Sad about Girl Meets World and I thought APB never got a fair chance as it was getting really good towards the end of the season.

I can't believe they're cancelling APB. I agree that it really came together nicely over the season. And it worked as a concept even though the concept was kind of ridiculous. I really like shows that are that level of near future tech, and yeah, it was kind of a 'special white guy' show, but I actually liked what they did with Gideon, and I liked his relationships with everyone around him. I really thought it would do well.

I agree, though I should have known that Fox would cancel it as they've got a track record of canceling good shows too soon. I really hope that another network or even something like Netflix might pick APB up.

I still can't believe Disney cancelled GMW. It's probably their most successful show in recent years! I can't believe no one else picked it up for a season 4 either.

On the other hand, after the shabbiness of how Nicole Beharie was treated, I have to admit I did a little dance when Sleepy Hollow got the axe!

I really wish Netflix or Hulu or anyone had stepped in and saved Pitch. It deserved a better fate.

the cancellation that i'm most upset about is The Get Down, which was under Netflix and cancelled after only 1 season. :/
