Huh. The Brink doesn't sound interesting right off? But I love both Jack Black & Tim Robbins, so... Sold.

YAY SEASON 10 SPN! :D! And Arrow! Now if Almost Human could just get a reprieve :s :s :s

Yeah, I'm not sure about The Brink, but good people are in it so that's usually enough for me to check it out.

I'm excited about Arrow, not that I was surprised but it's good to get the early renewals, so there is no doubt. Someday I may actually catch up with SPN, now I suppose I have even more reason to. I like hearing about renewals even for shows I don't watch. I figure it's happy news for someone!

I haven't checked out Almost Human. I want to watch too many things!!!

I just had a passing thought of linking some reviews/recaps for the new episodes of the show I'm captaining in the episode threads. Would this be okay, or do you think it might dilute the conversation too much (or even just annoy people, idk)?

I was just thinking of posting them in the Home Base post threads for each episode, but if you wanted to share them that would be cool too. I just didn't figure the show (PLL) would have that much of a fanbase that people who weren't commenting on it would care!

Well since you captain the show, of course you can. I link to my own reaction posts a lot of the times on the shows I captain. I also added a thread on one of them for links to fanworks etc.

I personally don't mind adding them to the round ups. I can't answer for laisserais though :) We split the round up posts. I have the later part of the week starting on Thursdays.

on the one hand, I'm finding the olympics to be annoying (people from all over the world! sportsing! in various sportslike ways!) but on the other, I'm so slammed irl that I'm glad for the breathing room!

I haven't really been catching up on the shows I need to catch up with sadly. You'd think I would with this break. I am sad that Justified isn't on next week though :( I'm all caught up with that.

Yay, I'm so glad The Originals has been renewed! Now if Almost Human makes it, too...

Grimm and Person of Interest are probably a fairly sure thing, but I am really nervous about Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. :-/ It took a long time to get going, but it just delivered such a fascinating twist that I'd hate to see it go!

I sadly think Once Upon a Time in Wonderland is probably a long shot. I'm crossing my fingers anyways though. Though from what I understand this particular story should be finished in one season, so we at least won't be left hanging. I was on the fence about the show for most of the beginning (I do love the Knave though) but it really starting to come together toward the break.

I feel exactly the same way - the show is extremely uneven and is taking far too long to find its footing, and it was pretty much only the Knave (and potentially but not quite yet Jafar, and even more potentially and definitely not yet the Red Queen) that made me keep watching. But then there was the last ep before the hiatus. And that twist really snagged me.

Again, it's really the potential that has me interested, not anything the show has actually done. *g* (Plus the Cyrus-saving is now over, thank god, because unfortunately that never worked for me - the Alice and Cyrus backstory wasn't done very well, IMO, and I never actually felt their romance.)

It's good to know the current storyline will be completed in this season! That does make the prospect of cancellation more palatable.
