Things people should know before friending: Not that I think it'll be an issue, but bigots are not welcome.
Favorite shows: Schitt's Creek, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (much more feminist than the title suggests), Parks and Recreation, Buffy, Our Flag Means Death, Firefly, Kevin Can F Himself, Heartstopper, Superstore, Young Sheldon, The Good Place, and most recently, Man on the Inside and Ghosts. It was 911 for a while, but I'm losing interest? We'll see if that changes when it comes back. I hope so, honestly, it was fun having a new show to love.
Favorite actors: I'm not really big on public figures.
My current TV obsession: Maybe Ghosts?
Upcoming releases I'm excited about: Not sure...
TV episode(s) I will never forget: Everything sticks with me!
Do you post about TV shows here on Dreamwidth? From time to time. I might start doing it more often. I do often talk about tropes and such.
Do you feel like you're part of a particular TV fandom? I'm in the Schitt's Creek fandom, and kind of float around Heartstopper, 911 and Buffy.
Are you a member of other TV communities on Dreamwidth? Not really.

Things people should know before friending: I also post randomly about my life and also a lot of photography. Just interacting with TV posts is chill.
Favorite shows: Leverage, Stranger Things
Favorite actors: Joe Keery, probably a bunch I am forgetting
My current TV obsession: Don't really have one. I do track some vaporware shows and check in on them from time to time. I'll probably be watching the news for the upcoming D&D TV show on Netflix
Upcoming releases I'm excited about: Leverage, Stranger Things, Murderbot, Tayloy Lautner: Werewolf Hunter
Do you post about TV shows here on Dreamwidth? Yeah, typically
Do you feel like you're part of a particular TV fandom? Not currently?
Are you a member of other TV communities on Dreamwidth? I run the active comm for Leverage

Things people should know before friending: I rarely talk about my real life aside from the occasional post (that is almost always locked), mainly because nothing that interesting happens that I want to share. I mostly use my journal to express my thoughts on various other things, media, fandom, what is happening in the world, reviews/recommendations/memes/etc.
Favorite shows: Battlestar Galactica, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dark Angel, Firefly, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, The Expanse, Legend of the Seeker, Dark Matter, The Untamed, Word of Honor, Heaven Official's Blessing, Detective L, Beyond Evil, Love Between Fairy And Devil, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, Agents of SHIELD, Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Cloak and Dagger, Runaways, Legion, Sense8, Orphan Black, just to name a few. I have quite a long list of shows that I love and consider my favorites.
Favorite actors: Richard Armitage, Eliza Dushku, Tricia Helfer, Aubrey Plaza, Cara Gee, Tatiana Maslany, Zhu Yilong, Bible Wichapas, View Benyapa, Luo Yunxi, Chen Mengqi, Wang Zhuocheng, Wang Haoxuan, Lee Dong Wook, and so many others.
My current TV obsession: Meet You At The Blossom, Fangs of Fortune, Love Game In Eastern Fantasy, the programs featured on Dropout.tv (Game Changer, Make Some Noise, Dimension 20, etc).
Upcoming releases I'm excited about: The second season of The Last Of Us, the second season of Pit Babe, Daredevil: Born Again.
TV episode(s) I will never forget: "The Body" from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. A brilliant yet harrowing episode that hit quite hard when I watched it initially, and hits much harder now as an adult. The entire Yi City arc in The Untamed.
Do you post about TV shows here on Dreamwidth? Yes, very much so.
Do you feel like you're part of a particular TV fandom? Oh, absolutely. As a fandom-oriented individual, it's definitely more than just one.

So nice to see somebody mentioning Cloak & Dagger! I felt it got no attention at all and flew entirely under the radar. A shame.
no subject
Yes, Cloak & Dagger is such an underrated and underappreciated show! It's honestly so good, a hidden gem that truly was quite risky and bold with the subject matters they brought up. I was so upset when it was cancelled. I miss it, I miss seeing Tandy and Tyrone, their whole dynamic was amazing and beautiful.
no subject
Hmm maybe that's a good candidate for a co-watch in future.
no subject
I keep meaning to check out Fangs of Fortune as I've heard the costumes etc are amazing. I've heard it's another one by Guo Jingming who did another of my current obsessions: The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity. I'm definitely looking forward to the second season of The Last Of Us.
Sense8 was brilliant and I really must re-watch it but I'm still currently too obsessed with Word of Honor, The Heart and The Untamed. I have started watching Guardian too :)
no subject
Gosh, Fangs of Fortune is insanely gorgeous, the costumes, the cinematography and sets, the acting is superb. It's an emotional rollarcoaster though, which I knew beforehand going into watching it since I saw people live-blogging and reacting to episodes as they were being released so I could proper mentally prepare myself for that.
Also, yay for starting Guardian! :D I'm still quite enamored with that drama.

Things people should know before friending: A little info about me, my fandoms and my ships are on my profile. I don't post about politics but I am liberal so I'm not interested in adding back people who are bigoted in any way, anti vaxx/anti science, or Trumpers/conservatives
Favorite shows: Smallville, Gilmore Girls, Friends, Law & Order (original run), Friends, 9-1-1
Favorite actors: Justin Hartley, Milo Ventimiglia, Chris Evans, Erica Durance, Sandra Bullock
My current TV obsession: 9-1-1 - I was late to the party and just got into it last year
Upcoming releases I'm excited about: Can't think of any off the top of my head
TV episode(s) I will never forget: So many - "Let Me Hear Your Balalaikas Ringing Out" from Gilmore Girls or "Homecoming" from Smallville or as of more recent, "Survivors" from 9-1-1. I tend to remember moments more than whole episodes though
Do you post about TV shows here on Dreamwidth? No. I used to do Smallville recaps when the show was airing, since I'm bad about keeping up with current shows, not as much. I'll have to think about posting more though!
Do you feel like you're part of a particular TV fandom? Not really, I'm more on the outskirts of most fandoms
Are you a member of other TV communities on Dreamwidth? No, but if people have recs, I'd be happy to accept them! :)

Things people should know before friending: Nowadays 90% of what I watch are k-dramas, with brief segues into other Asian dramas (Chinese, Thai) and occasional Western media. I'm Indian so my timezone is what it is.

Favorite actors: Kim Hyeyoon, Han Sohee, Lee Junho, Podd Suphakorn Sriphothong

TV episode(s) I will never forget: That one episode of Lovely Runner where it was raining condoms XD
Do you post about TV shows here on Dreamwidth? Yeah, I gush about dramas here, and also post about other media I'm loving (webtoons, books)
Do you feel like you're part of a particular TV fandom? I'm an Extraordinary You girl for life!
Are you a member of other TV communities on Dreamwidth? There's isn't a dedicated Korean drama comm here as far as I'm aware, but if there was, I'd be the first to join. In the meanwhile there's

What I look for in a
Someone who posts fannishly from time to time.
Things people should know before friending:
I do have a habit of dropping off the internet from time to time. When I'm working, my internet is also quite bad, so I'm fairly sensitive about spoilers for ongoing stuff.
Favorite shows:
Currently watching Severance, will be catching up on Yellowjackets s3 when I get home in a month, and then Wheel of Time will be starting up \o/ I'm also excited for Interview With the Vampire, and Silo not too far off after that (hopefully). Fingers crossed Stranger Things delivers, after such a long wait!
Forever faves are Buffy, Community, and The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
My current TV obsession:
Wheel of Time has had me in a chokehold since I read the books as a young un. I don't see anything dethroning it for that reason alone. (the trailer just dropped and oooohhh the budget certainly increased)
But Yellowjackets and Interview With the Vampire are the two shows besides WoT that keeps popping into my head.
Upcoming releases I'm excited about:
I really really hope the Murderbot show they're working on comes together well 🤞🤞🤞
Mike Flanagan is working on adapting The Dark Tower series, and that could be amazing.
And I think we're all bracing emotionally for when The Last of Us season 2 makes impact.
Do you post about TV shows here on Dreamwidth?
From time to time, yes. The occasional rec or icon post as well.
Do you feel like you're part of a particular TV fandom?
Wheel of Time mostly atm. It's fairly quiet around these parts.

What I look for in a
Things people should know before friending: I run/mod/assist with a lot of events on DW, including an annual fictional incest-fest. I'm also knee-deep in archiving two+ decades of writing and getting away from AO3 for multiple reasons, so I talk about that a lot.
Favorite shows: Mecha anime in general, esp. Gundam. But I legit like everything. I contain multitudes.
Favorite actors: Kazuhiko Inoue, I suppose. I'm better with animation and voice actors than live action because I'm kinda face-blind. ^^;; And I do love Alan Rickman, though I suppose he was more of a movie actor than television.
My current TV obsession: I'm in the middle-end of rewatching Gundam 00 in its entirety since it aired. I feel very different about it than I did back then, which is a very weird but good feeling!
Upcoming releases I'm excited about: I'm cautiously optimistic about Gundam GQuuuuuuX and the Guilty Gear anime.
TV episode(s) I will never forget: I can't think of a particular episode, just unexpected combined events like The Year of the Dead Sniper.
Do you post about TV shows here on Dreamwidth? Mostly in the context of other media roundups that include what I'm reading/watching/listening to/enjoying in general.
Do you feel like you're part of a particular TV fandom? Not really. I think I've kind of gelled into a multipurpose general fan at this point. I'm just happy people are enjoying stuff, even if it's stuff I'm not particularly into myself.
Are you a member of other TV communities on Dreamwidth?
Anything Else? My internet is fairly poor so I haven't done much streaming but I hope to upgrade to better service this year if I can. I love the descriptions of various dramas that my friends keep posting and want to watch them all. Basically, I am that person who, if you post a lot about how cool something is, will probably go check it out and agree with its coolness.

Age Range: 30's and up. I am in my 40's.
What I look for in a
Things people should know before friending: I am not interested in hate or bigotry
Favorite shows: I have many!
Finished shows: SGA, SG-1, Fringe, Lost, Supernatural, Sense8, Black Sails, Our Flag Means Death.
Shows still running or that are done but which I have not finished: Doctor Who, FROM, See, The Wheel of Time, The Last of Us, Call the Midwife, The Rings of Power
Favorite actors: I don't have any.
My current TV obsession: I would not call it an obsession, but I am watching See at a slow pace and I just did a re-watch of SGA which was more like an obsession.
Upcoming releases I'm excited about: Season 2 of The last of us and more The Wheel of Time.
TV episode(s) I will never forget: Two faves from different shows Vincent and the Doctor (Doctor Who) and The Shrine (SGA).
Do you post about TV shows here on Dreamwidth? Yes, I do post about shows I watch and films, and in general about fandom and fandom loves of mine.
Do you feel like you're part of a particular TV fandom? Yes I love chatting, squeeing and discussing different fandom topics and and just about shows/films in general and I read fanfiction in a different fandoms.
Are you a member of other TV communities on Dreamwidth? no.

What I look for in a
Things people should know before friending: I make a lot of icons, and thus make a lot of icon posts. No interaction required on those (and feel free to filter if you don't like them), but, you know, if you do like icons, I have tons of them to share.
Favorite shows: anything gay romance. Heartstopper was my fave show two years ago. Then het romance. Bridgerton was my fave show last year. I also watch Asian BL, preferably Taiwanese.
Favorite actors: Zhu Yilong. (Although that obsession is currently starting to fade.) I otherwise don't have any faves rn. Old faves include Harrison Ford, Pierce Brosnan, Matthew Perry, Alan Rickman.
My current TV obsession: HPI, the French show about a high-IQ consultant to the Lille police department. I watch it for the romance. Before that were My Lady Jane and Bridgerton, Lost You Forever (cdrama), and the Full-Time Wife Escapist (jdrama).
Upcoming releases I'm excited about: HPI season 5. Bridgerton season 4. Maxton Hall season 2.
TV episode(s) I will never forget: The Buffy Musical.
Do you post about TV shows here on Dreamwidth? Yes. I post reviews of shows I like a lot. (my recs tag)
Do you feel like you're part of a particular TV fandom? Does BL as a genre count as a fandom? That's probably the most fitting. cdrama and Zhu Yilong, maybe? I still have a lot of people from the Guardian fandom on my flist.

Age Range: Old enough to know better
What I look for in a
Things people should know before friending: I don't talk about anything real or serious going on in the world and I don't like anyone requiring me to have an opinion.
Favorite shows: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Daredevil, Legion, Lucifer, What We Do in the Shadows, The Sandman, The Wheel of Time, Cowboy Bebop (the anime not the Netflix adaptation), Avatar: The Last Airbender, Gargoyles
Favorite actors: Aubrey Plaza, Deborah Ann Woll, Chris Pratt
My current TV obsession: Sort of in between obsessions until new seasons come out for some of the above.
Upcoming releases I'm excited about: Daredevil: Born Again
TV episode(s) I will never forget: "I Will Remember You" (Angel), "Virtue of the Vicious" (The Punisher), "Vincent and the Doctor" (Doctor Who), "Chapter 7" (Legion), "Remedial Chaos Theory" (Community), "Calcium" (Look Around You)
Do you post about TV shows here on Dreamwidth? Yes - I've been scarce for the last couple years but I'm working on posting (and commenting) more regularly.
Do you feel like you're part of a particular TV fandom?
My main fandoms were Buffyverse and the Netflix MCU shows, but I'm not very known anywhere.

What I look for in a
Things people should know before friending: I read and write fanfic of all stripes, and I'll often approach a show through the lens of shipping. Loving a show and being (transformatively) fannish about it are different things for me, so some of the shows whose fanworks I post a lot about might be ones where I feel ambivalent or even negative about the canon, and some of the shows I enjoy the most might be ones I only post official material and the odd bit of meta about. My most recent post is an excerpt of a fic I'm writing featuring a cross-generational f/m/m/m/x fivesome for a show that I will probably be posting fanworks about for the next twenty years but also solidly reject at least 20% of. (I do try to be generally positive in my journal, however.)
Favorite shows: Severance, Deadloch, Interview with the Vampire, Game Changer, Dirty Laundry, Um Actually, Dimension 20, Taskmaster UK and NZ, QI (especially the Toksvig years), Sense8, Scavengers Reign, Reservation Dogs, Uncle, Fleabag, BoJack Horseman, The Good Place, Star Trek: Lower Decks, Ted Lasso (last season partially excluded), Our Flag Means Death (last few episodes and post-cancellation material excluded), Derry Girls, Letterkenny, Slings and Arrows, The Venture Bros., Hannibal, The Wire, Over the Garden Wall.
Favorite actors: I tend to follow writers more than actors, but it's fair to say I'm solidly in my Con O'Neill era.
My current TV obsession: Severance
Upcoming releases I'm excited about: Deadloch season 2 and Taskmaster season 19!
TV episode(s) I will never forget: Picking three off the top of my head: 2x02 of Our Flag Means Death, the series finale of Sense8, and the season 1 finale of Fleabag.
Do you post about TV shows here on Dreamwidth? I post some fanworks and recs, and I have a "What's Making Me Happy Today" feature that will sometimes include what I'm watching on TV or what I'm looking forward to checking out. Recently, this has included post-viewing reactions to Severance episodes.
Do you feel like you're part of a particular TV fandom? Our Flag Means Death is my main transformative fandom of the moment, mostly in the subfandoms for Izzy Hands and the Revenge crew.

Things people should know before friending: I don't post a huge amount these days but I hope to get back into it. I'm also not super into shipping, at least not to the extent that a lot of people are, but I don't have any issue with people who are. I mostly-but-not-exclusively talk/write fic about female characters and most of the ships I do have are F/F.
Favorite shows: various Star Treks, Doctor Who, The Expanse, For All Mankind, Grace and Frankie, Stranger Things, Abbott Elementary, Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Community. I also watch a lot of reality talent competitions, but I don't really post about that.
Favorite actors: Michelle Yeoh is the only one where I often look up stuff just because she's in it, and she's more of a movie actor mostly
My current TV obsession: ???
Upcoming releases I'm excited about: the new seasons of Stranger Things and Doctor Who
TV episode(s) I will never forget: The Eleventh Hour and The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang (Doctor Who); Terra Firma (Discovery); Year of Hell (Voyager); Remedial Chaos Theory (Community) (i think there's a common theme here)
Do you post about TV shows here on Dreamwidth? Yes

Age Range: Early 20s (I'll be 23 next week as of this comment).
What I look for in a
Things people should know before friending: I tend to have times where I don't feel very up to talking sometimes..
Favorite shows: At the moment? Doctor Who (the 2005-onwards version, mostly owing to lack of access to the original run), House M.D., and pretty much any nonfiction crime documentary show that's interesting enough.
Favorite actors: Hmm.. That'd be a really long list if I included movie-specific actors, so I'll stick with David Tennant, Hugh Laurie, Emily Deschanel and Matt Smith.
My current TV obsession: I.. I guess "The Real Ghostbusters"? I've been rewatching that cartoon recently, but it's kind of embarrassing.
Upcoming releases I'm excited about: If I ever manage to catch it, I want to see the next iteration of the Great British Bake-Off.
TV episode(s) I will never forget: I'd say "The Fires of Pompeii", from the 10th Doctor's run with the character Donna Noble. I was in middle school when I sought this episode out after my then-science teacher told us about it in class as an example, and from that moment on I've been hooked on Doctor Who in some form.
Do you post about TV shows here on Dreamwidth? On occasion, but that's only when I have access to TV (not much money of my own to get stuff like Netflix and Amazon Prime consistently, y'know?).
Do you feel like you're part of a particular TV fandom? Doctor Who, at least kinda lowkey - same with the Ghostbusters cartoons.
Are you a member of other TV communities on Dreamwidth? Nah, I'm currently just in this one I'm chatting in right now. I'm still relatively inexperienced with Dreamwidth so it's been kinda hard to figure out where the good communities are.

Age Range: 30+
What I look for in a
Things people should know before friending: 1. I don't maintain an active journal and I don't think I ever will. 2. I am neurospicy/weird and tend to get along well with other neurospicy/weird people.
Favorite shows: Definitely Taskmaster UK/AU/NZ in the last couple of years. The Expanse. Every show mentioned somewhere in this post.
My current TV obsession: Yellowjackets S3? I am always excited to hear other people's thoughts about it.
Upcoming releases I'm excited about: Any new Taskmaster UK/AU/NZ season. Alice in Borderland.
TV episode(s) I will never forget:
- House: House's Head & Wilson's Heart. (Three Stories also qualifies.)
- Battlestar Galactica (2004): Crossroads: Part 1 & 2. I yelled at my TV screen.
- The X Files: Arcadia. TXF was my gateway to fandom/shipping. This episode is where my love for fake dating comes from.
- Taskmaster UK: Melon Buffet. There's one moment in this one that made me fall in love with the show. (I started with series 4.)
Do you post about TV shows here on Dreamwidth? I post trailers and a monthly list of new K-drama releases in this community. I have also posted the following TV show primers: Koisenu Futari (a Japanese drama centering on two ace-aro people finding a family in each other) and Somebody Somewhere (a US show about a grieving middle-aged woman who finds a haven among the mostly queer oddballs in her rural hometown). I've vague plans about making a post about semi-biographical comedies centering on identity and/or community with queer rep (Somebody Somewhere, Feel Good, Work in Progress, Sort Of) but I'd like more examples. Last but not least: I have made it my mission to make a yearly post about shows that could be part of a good Halloween watch.
Do you feel like you're part of a particular TV fandom? Only my very niche daily soap fandom.
Are you a member of other TV communities on Dreamwidth? I started
