Age Range: 50+.

What I look for in a tv_talk friend: someone who engages with my posts. I like to engage in fannish discussions, too. Just know that if you post a lot, I need there to be tags so I can curate, because I only read my flist once a week and if you post more than once a day, that's too much for me to read. For now, I'm mostly interested in fannish discussions (tv recs and reviews, I guess), but those usually evolve into personal friendships, so I'm open to that.

Things people should know before friending: I make a lot of icons, and thus make a lot of icon posts. No interaction required on those (and feel free to filter if you don't like them), but, you know, if you do like icons, I have tons of them to share.

Favorite shows: anything gay romance. Heartstopper was my fave show two years ago. Then het romance. Bridgerton was my fave show last year. I also watch Asian BL, preferably Taiwanese.

Favorite actors: Zhu Yilong. (Although that obsession is currently starting to fade.) I otherwise don't have any faves rn. Old faves include Harrison Ford, Pierce Brosnan, Matthew Perry, Alan Rickman.

My current TV obsession: HPI, the French show about a high-IQ consultant to the Lille police department. I watch it for the romance. Before that were My Lady Jane and Bridgerton, Lost You Forever (cdrama), and the Full-Time Wife Escapist (jdrama).

Upcoming releases I'm excited about: HPI season 5. Bridgerton season 4. Maxton Hall season 2.

TV episode(s) I will never forget: The Buffy Musical.

Do you post about TV shows here on Dreamwidth? Yes. I post reviews of shows I like a lot. (my recs tag)

Do you feel like you're part of a particular TV fandom? Does BL as a genre count as a fandom? That's probably the most fitting. cdrama and Zhu Yilong, maybe? I still have a lot of people from the Guardian fandom on my flist.

Are you a member of other TV communities on Dreamwidth? c_ent . Unless icon communities count, which I don't think they do. They're always fannishly motivated, but there's no textual content.

Hi there! We have quite a bit in common, particularly with Asian dramas, the love for Zhu Yilong and Harrison Ford, and "Once More, With Feeling" being among one of the best BTVS episodes that is truly unforgettable. I'm someone who enjoys engaging with fannish posts/discussions, and I do write a lot of my thoughts on various pieces of media, reviews, recommendations, and so on.
