What I look for in a tv_talk friend: Someone who is engaging in conversations, not just with television and media but with anything in general.
Things people should know before friending: I rarely talk about my real life aside from the occasional post (that is almost always locked), mainly because nothing that interesting happens that I want to share. I mostly use my journal to express my thoughts on various other things, media, fandom, what is happening in the world, reviews/recommendations/memes/etc.

Favorite shows: Battlestar Galactica, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dark Angel, Firefly, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, The Expanse, Legend of the Seeker, Dark Matter, The Untamed, Word of Honor, Heaven Official's Blessing, Detective L, Beyond Evil, Love Between Fairy And Devil, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, Agents of SHIELD, Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Cloak and Dagger, Runaways, Legion, Sense8, Orphan Black, just to name a few. I have quite a long list of shows that I love and consider my favorites.
Favorite actors: Richard Armitage, Eliza Dushku, Tricia Helfer, Aubrey Plaza, Cara Gee, Tatiana Maslany, Zhu Yilong, Bible Wichapas, View Benyapa, Luo Yunxi, Chen Mengqi, Wang Zhuocheng, Wang Haoxuan, Lee Dong Wook, and so many others.
My current TV obsession: Meet You At The Blossom, Fangs of Fortune, Love Game In Eastern Fantasy, the programs featured on Dropout.tv (Game Changer, Make Some Noise, Dimension 20, etc).
Upcoming releases I'm excited about: The second season of The Last Of Us, the second season of Pit Babe, Daredevil: Born Again.
TV episode(s) I will never forget: "The Body" from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. A brilliant yet harrowing episode that hit quite hard when I watched it initially, and hits much harder now as an adult. The entire Yi City arc in The Untamed.

Do you feel like you're part of a particular TV fandom? Oh, absolutely. As a fandom-oriented individual, it's definitely more than just one.

Hah I wrote down "The Body" as well, but then felt I had to think of more and I'm too lazy so I just deleted *g*

So nice to see somebody mentioning Cloak & Dagger! I felt it got no attention at all and flew entirely under the radar. A shame.

It's kind of a hard to answer such a prompt because, well, I watch a lot of television and there are so many episodes that are unforgettable. I only went with two examples because those were the only ones I could think of in the moment.

Yes, Cloak & Dagger is such an underrated and underappreciated show! It's honestly so good, a hidden gem that truly was quite risky and bold with the subject matters they brought up. I was so upset when it was cancelled. I miss it, I miss seeing Tandy and Tyrone, their whole dynamic was amazing and beautiful.

I actually just watched the first season, but I'd love to go back and re-watch before going into s2. The strong setting of it rivals Ms Marvel imo, and the way they weaved the two characters together was great. It should be on Disney+ now, I'd think.

Hmm maybe that's a good candidate for a co-watch in future.

We do seem to have a few shows in common so I hope you don't mind that I 'friended' you :D

I keep meaning to check out Fangs of Fortune as I've heard the costumes etc are amazing. I've heard it's another one by Guo Jingming who did another of my current obsessions: The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity. I'm definitely looking forward to the second season of The Last Of Us.

Sense8 was brilliant and I really must re-watch it but I'm still currently too obsessed with Word of Honor, The Heart and The Untamed. I have started watching Guardian too :)

Gosh, Fangs of Fortune is insanely gorgeous, the costumes, the cinematography and sets, the acting is superb. It's an emotional rollarcoaster though, which I knew beforehand going into watching it since I saw people live-blogging and reacting to episodes as they were being released so I could proper mentally prepare myself for that.

Also, yay for starting Guardian! :D I'm still quite enamored with that drama.
