With a basketball tournament overtaking the tv schedule, my family hasn't been watching a lot. We were expecting our usual 'Tracker' and 'Watson' tonight, but they were delayed by 45 minutes. And then the weather turned severe enough that we were just watching the meteorologist after about 15 minutes. My sibling was looking forward to 'The Forsytes' and (I think) 'The Count of Monte Cristo' that were both supposed to air tonight, but we'll have to wait and see if any weather announcements interfered with those. (The last time that happened on PBS, it was a verbal announcement of the scrolling banner and turning on the subtitles was all that was needed.)
I suspect there will be a lot of this over the next few months. We are getting such yo-yo weather here, and with that comes a higher incidence of tornadoes. We already got lucky with one cell just last week.
We have only streaming though, so on the plus side we could get PBS shows uninterrupted (and ahead of time). On the downside we have no local news, but we do have a good NPR station with a meteorologist that comes on with reports when there are tornado threats.
