Jeopardy is having its Celebrity Champions Tournament, only 2 episodes so far -- best I can tell is that they air on Fridays. Caught up on the daily stuff, including Colbert and Daily Show.
Also watched the Sally Ride documentary and finished the latest season of Call the Midwife. But everything else is still in process -- the JFKJR & Caroline series, The Puzzle Lady, Count of Monte Cristo, The Gold, and All Creatures Great and Small. Finished the first story in Bookish, but the partner seems to be interested in more so we'll probably finish that at some point. Have watched a smattering more of Paradise but I'm close to giving up on it.
Started Happiness but am not very enthused. I'm liking it more as it goes on, though the way so many characters are turned up to 10 is a little much for me. What I am liking quite a lot are the musical numbers themselves. If more kids learned history like this, they might remember it.
Also am several episodes into Wonder Man and am not feeling very enthusiastic about that either though am loving Ben Kingsley in this part.
Also saw Zootopia2, which I liked, and Life of Chuck which was a very nice watch.
I had somewhat the same reaction to Wonder Man, and ended up giving up on it. It kept putting me to sleep or my attention would wander. I think I've seen too many satires on Hollywood, and outside of the Ben Kingsley character - none were holding my interest? It felt like it was trying too hard to be clever...which I've noticed as a pattern in a lot of Disney Marvel shows of late. Too much focus on being experimental or clever - and not enough on developing interesting characters. I had the same issues with Moon Knight, Iron Heart, Secret Invasion, She Hulk and Loki. Wanda Vision and Agatha All Along - I felt were the only ones who accomplished it well.
