Northern Exposure, The Practice, NYPD Blue, LA Law, Boston Legal, Ally McBeal, sigh...it's scary when Buffy was actually the most progressive of the 1990s and 00 shows in that regard? Actually, it's what motivated the people who made Buffy to make it - those shows.
