DOMINION: HOMEBASE

This is the first season and there will be 13 episodes.
Season one airs on Syfy from June 19-September 11 2014 on Thursday nights.
What is Dominion?
Dominion is an epic supernatural drama set in the near future. Specifically, 25 years after "The Extinction War," when an army of lower angels, assembled by the archangel Gabriel, waged war against mankind. The archangel Michael, turning against his own kind, chose to side with humanity. Rising out of the ashes of this long battle are newly fortified cities which protect human survivors. At the center of the series is the city of Vega, a glistening empire that has formed from the ruins of what was once Las Vegas.
Stars: Christopher Egan (Kings), Anthony Stewart Head (Buffy, Merlin), Tom Wisdom (300, The Boat That Rocked/Pirate Radio), Roxanne McKee (Game of Thrones), Alan Dale (Lost), Luke Allen-Gale (The Borgias).

Re: 1x01 - Pilot
Having said that, I think it was very entertaining.
I loved that little orphan that he's latched onto.
Anthony Stewart Head with that accent just freaks me out. lol I'm still used to him as Giles in Buffy.
I'm not sure how I feel about the chick that he was going to run away with. I think she may be a bit wimpy. The other warrior girl they would occasionally focus on seems nice and strong, but that would be way too cliche (and she needs to be her own woman).
The preview about ASH's boy maybe being a follower of the bad guys was interesting.
Re: 1x01 - Pilot
Totally agree on the accent. It just doesn't sound right.
I had to laugh because the romance subplot really made me think of Kings, mainly because Chris Egan was in it and his character in it was really similar to this one.
And I really enjoyed the last couple minutes from a purely shallow point of view.
Re: 1x01 - Pilot
heh, nothing wrong with shallow. :)
