I wasn't a big fan of the flashback format, but I do like that TPTB tried to change it up. It made the episode seem tense and important.

Scott's becoming his own alpha, eh? Both with calming Isaac down and the red eyes during the fight. I like that it's happening sort of subtle-like.

Everyone is a BAMF this episode, they were all good - a well-balanced 42 minutes!!

Yeah to both those points, i don't think the flashbacks really workd (do not need to see the same slo-mo action sequence over and over)
