E X C E L L E N T. her face is so great on MC. as are her legs (still the best legs in the fleet. i mean in all the twelve colonies. i mean in the universe.) if MC had spaceships, it would be the perfect show.

what is it about though? how many episodes do i need to watch to catch up?

did you watch the closer? mc is the spin-off of that. (but you don't need to have seen that to understand mc as long as you know that no one liked mary's character during the closer because she was kind of the nemesis.) and it's just a pretty regular cop show, except for how fabulous the ensemble is and also how awesome the cases are and how well they treat them? like, they have a lot of cases about identity (they had one where a trans kid was murdered, for example, and it was so painful to watch but also super well done) and stuff like that. and they have the most diverse cast of all the casts, in terms of gender, age and ethnicity! but yeah basically they solve the worst of the worst crimes and love each other in between. i am not selling this very well. just look at mary's face some more.

they just finished for the summer, after ep 2x11, and the first season has 10 eps i think. so you have 21 episodes to watch. more if you want to watch the closer, ofc, but realy, don't. (i am biased.) and they're back in late november to finish s2 with another eight eps! \o/ and they've already been renewed for s3, so no awful cliffhangers! \\\o///

YAY WONDERFUL. i hope you enjoy it. oh and one more thing you might want to know is that the kid that shows up in the first episode is also brought over from the closer finale. he witnessed a serial killer named stroh kill some people but only because he was abandoned by his mother and had to become a prostitute to survive. :( THAT IS ALL THOUGH. you'd probably get this from the show too eventually, but it's easier if you know it in advance i think.

i think the only reason i didn't watch it when it first aired is because i had 234923 other things to watch

great! but yes, feel free to bug me any time. :D i'm thinking about putting together a sort of primer because i've explained the ~starting point of the show so many times lately, lol. THAT could be the post that i'm making. yes. good.

oh yeah, i get that. i only really got into it right before s2 started because i had forgotten most of what happened in s1 and i decided to quickly rewatch. and BAM. in too deep.
