Just wanted to say thanks for these posts. Because my TV doesn't work properly 99 % of the time, I never get to see shows on the nights they air. In fact, I don't even know what days/times most of my shows DO air! This at least alerts me that there's been a new episode or that one is coming up.

Because apparently I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT TV!

oh yay! Then our work here is done :) THE TV IS VERY IMPORTANT

In addition to our wonderfully awesome and perfect posts, if you're app-savvy, there are a couple of other options out there, for creating personal tv show tracking lists (if you're interested):

trakt.tv -- this is the big hitter in the field. You can connect it to numerous apps, so that you get reminders on your phone.

episodecalendar.com -- is a newish one. I just set up a calendar to help me keep track of the comm. (it's here)

And if you use Chrome, you can google the name of a tv show, and on the righthand side, you should get an option to be sent reminders. This works for me with Google Now.
