Yes, once Disney + got the rights, it kind made it difficult for those who could only watch on cable via BBC America or elsewhere to see it. However, you might be able to catch it on Youtube or online somewhere.
Fair enough! That's probably gonna be how I end up watching it anyway - the only service I've been able to keep is Youtube, and some of the shows on there are pretty cheap per season / per episode or even free with ads which is nice.
If you have Youtube - you should be able to catch it at some point. There's a Doctor Who youtube channel.
Youtube is apparently the cheapest? I've a friend who has it for that reason. I just find it difficult to navigate, also I'm annoyed at it - because I'm used to it being free and don't understand why people have to pay for it now? It has ads.
Yeah, I get it. I've had Youtube for so long that I'm used to the BS site changes by now, but I can see why that is both amenable and annoying for people. I do like the Doctor Who channel though, they curate a decent amount of clips and stuff.

I do like the Christmas episodes of Doctor Who though. Twice Upon a Time is still one of my big favorites, ehehe.
