Looks like Edgar Allan Poe meets Knives Out to me.

I wish Mike Flanagan didn't lean so hard into the animal harm aspects of horror in general (I couldn't finish Midnight Mass). I will stil check this out.

I liked The Haunting of Hill House a lot. One of the scenes STILL creeps me out when I think of it. I haven't watched Bly Manor yet.

Hill House was great! It's the main reason why I keep checking out Flanagan's works. I liked certain aspects of Bly Manor (that's why I'm looking forward to seeing T'Nia Miller and Rahul Kohli again!) but Midnight Mass, to me, was so far his weakest effort. Just couldn't connect with it.
