The Taskmaster YT channel has posted interviews with every single contestant: Julian Clary, Lucy Beaumont, Sam Campbell, Sue Perkins, Susan Wokoma.

This post is an excuse to discuss the first Taskmaster S16 episode (which you can find here on YouTube, posted by the official TM channel). Accordingly, spoiler warning for the comment(s).

Finally managed to watch the episode! :D

Loved:
- Alex's "can of peas" joke, especially after listening way too many times to The Horne Section's Grandaddy.

- Sue wearing a "Vote for Pedro" shirt.

- Julian's bum table for the prize task.

- Sue endlessly cursing Alex.

- Everything about the team task. "Show me the natural friends!" / "Is gut a body part?" - "One of the best!" / Greg's village idiots comment and Sue following it up with "And then the nipple clamps came out!" / Lucy being all :DDD when it came to cutting her hair and Julian worrying about his magnificent haircut.

Peak Taskmaster for me. And I already loved the previous can task.

- Giant Duck Task: Sue: "That's the difference between a light entertainment comedy format and law." / Julian: "Well, it was quite hard work for, you know, an aging homosexual." / Susan being cute during the Giant Duck task. Didn't enjoy that one a lot but she sort of saved it for me.

- Sam during the studio task: "Are you a child of divorce?"

Cannot decide on a fave yet but, to me, the most pleasant surprise was Sam Campbell. He had this wonderfully chaotic vibe.
