LUCIFER CANCELLED

Fox, proving once again that they are completely out of touch, has cancelled yet another beloved series. Lucifer, which is averaging about 3.297 million viewers, has just been cancelled. Meanwhile, Family Guy and Bob's Burgers, who are averaging 2.552 and 2.369 million viewers, respectively, have both been renewed by the network.

Note to self, I might want to consider kicking cable to the curb and going pure streaming. Also wait until a series had been completed and I know for a fact that there are no cliff-hangers prior to watching it.

I don't watch Lucifer, but I'm highly suspicious about the reasons behind the news. Is it that the viewership for Lucifer skews heavily female? The cancellation could be that the good numbers don't matter because they reflect the "wrong" demographic from what the network wants. Sentinel fandom is still pissed that the plug was pulled because, despite the good ratings, not enough men were watching; female viewers were not deemed important to their bottom line.

Lucifer on Netflix
Netflix not only picked up the Lucifer TV series where it left off, but they also have all the seasons that originally aired on Fox available to view and/or download via their U.S. app/site. Hope this helps!
