Good news

Longmire has been picked up by Netflix for a 4th season of 10 episodes.

Luther is finally coming back for a two-part miniseries, to air in the U.S. on BBC America in late 2015.

Bad news

Sullivan & Son (TBS) canceled after 3 seasons.

I`m really excited because of Longmire, yaaa !!!

the show deserves so much more than A&E was willing to give. I, as well as many others, still didn`t forgive the network for getting ride of "The Glades" the way they did. When The Glades had to go, it was a sure thing Longmire would follow soon.

Oh, new Luther episodes! \o/!

Having said that, I'm on the fence about the proposed Luther remake (there was a tidbit about it earlier this week, I think). OTOH, I love the show and I think that, a big part of its greatness had to do with Idris Elba as Luther (that role is going to get recast). OTOH, he is involved with the remake (as a producer).

AFAIK, it's Fox who is handling the remake. I guess they got a taste for it after Gracepoint.

I agree and I think it's even odder to have a remake while the original show is still running. I really don't see the point for it.

I think that the remake announcement came in the heels of the S3 news. AFAIK, the general consensus was that Luther was over.
