How To Get Away With Murder and Scandal
For all its handwaviness when it comes to law, HTGAWM is deffo a show I'll keep tuning in for. I wasn't too sure about the two different timelines--maybe because it felt like certain scenes would be repeated again and again. However, three episodes in and I couldn't be more into the show.
One thing that I can't help but mull over is (spoiler):whether Analise's cop boyfriend lied to her about Dr. Keating's alibi because cop boyfriend wants his relationship with Analise to be really over OR if he did it as a way to set Analise up (just like she made him perjure himself on the stand)? (end of spoiler).
Meanwhile, this week's episode of Scandal was an absolute bore. Except for Abby and Mellie. Spoiler:I can't believe they're bringing back the whole B-613 mess to the show. Again! I mean, TPTB had a whole season to play out Jake vs. Poppa Pope, Quinn's real allegiance (OPA or Charlie), etc.
Also, I couldn't believe that Cyrus Beene (who's extremely savvy about the goings on in Washington) would fall for the hooker scenario. I kept thinking "Really, Cyrus? REALLY?" because it's such an amateur move. >:( (end of spoiler).
Here's hoping Scandal gets back on track soon!
