Hello [community profile] tv_talk!

My apologies for missing last week. I was out of town. But I'm back with your weekly opportunity to chat about non-current TV. Anything goes! Please stop by and tell us what you're watching, what you've been thinking of checking out, etc. Closed canons or something currently airing that you're just behind on -- it's all good. :)

Some possible topics:
- What show(s) have you watched this week?
- [personal profile] lostdragonfound posted a link to What's New On Netflix in September 2014? and it includes 20 tv shows. Are you planning on watching any of these?
- If you could create a made-for-TV movie that was a mashup of two canceled shows, what shows would you pick? What would the plot be?

Watch-Along: Show of the Month: TICKY!!!! so much for getting a jump start on it this month - haha! Poll contains the suggestions provided in the last post. Please choose one and we'll start talking about it next week!!

I have been continuing my re-watch of Agents of SHIELD, I'm up to episode #15 now!
I've also been watching an insane amount of Parks and Recreation. I hadn't watched the show before, then I decided to check it out a couple of weeks ago and now I'm at the beginning of the 5th season. Netflix has it on streaming, making it way too easy to binge watch :)

I finally watched the last two episodes of Haven in preparation of the new season starting up next week. Not sure why I kept putting that off. And I watched a couple of episodes of The Fosters (I'm still in the 1st season of that…and not very far in really).

For new stuff I've watched some Masters of Sex, Legends and of course Graceland!

From the Netflix list: I will be waiting for Sept 28th for the 6th season of Parks and Recreation, because I'm pretty sure I'll be done the 5th season long before that. And I see they'll have the 2nd season of The Fosters this month as well, though I don't know how fast I'll get through the first season.

I keep thinking I'll watch The Walking Dead, but I have so many other things to watch I don't really need to add another thing right now. And I'd be starting from the beginning, and it would take a while to catch up. Theoretically anyways.

Damn Outlander was intense O_O It started a bit fluffy with all the Jamie and Claire romance developing but I must say this last episode dug deep into Claire's situation. I don't know how she does it, I would have broken down into tears a long time ago after such abuse. I love how the episode ended because her way out (as it is) comes after the realisation that their aim is political.

I can't think of a more timely show what with the referendum on independence coming up.

My "catching-up-before-Fall-season-begins" queue didn't budge an inch last week. I spent some of my free time watching movies on Netflix and reading books. /o\!

Veronica Mars/Firefly. I...really have no idea of what the movie would be about, but I'd love to see Captain Mal being outsmarted by Veronica. \o?
