Hello
My apologies for missing last week. I was out of town. But I'm back with your weekly opportunity to chat about non-current TV. Anything goes! Please stop by and tell us what you're watching, what you've been thinking of checking out, etc. Closed canons or something currently airing that you're just behind on -- it's all good. :)
Some possible topics:
- What show(s) have you watched this week?
-
- If you could create a made-for-TV movie that was a mashup of two canceled shows, what shows would you pick? What would the plot be?

- My Netflix queue contains Arrow, The Walking Dead, and Blacklist - although I've not really started any of them so I'm not watching the season that is releasing this month. WHO KNOWS if I'll ever get around to it all.
- Mashups!! Stargate SG-1 and Farscape - John Crichton and Sam Carter knew each other professionally or went to rocket science school together or whatever. Bonus is that thanks to seasons 9&10 of SG-1 we can have a legitimate doppelgänger plot.

I've also been watching an insane amount of Parks and Recreation. I hadn't watched the show before, then I decided to check it out a couple of weeks ago and now I'm at the beginning of the 5th season. Netflix has it on streaming, making it way too easy to binge watch :)
I finally watched the last two episodes of Haven in preparation of the new season starting up next week. Not sure why I kept putting that off. And I watched a couple of episodes of The Fosters (I'm still in the 1st season of that…and not very far in really).
For new stuff I've watched some Masters of Sex, Legends and of course Graceland!
From the Netflix list: I will be waiting for Sept 28th for the 6th season of Parks and Recreation, because I'm pretty sure I'll be done the 5th season long before that. And I see they'll have the 2nd season of The Fosters this month as well, though I don't know how fast I'll get through the first season.
I keep thinking I'll watch The Walking Dead, but I have so many other things to watch I don't really need to add another thing right now. And I'd be starting from the beginning, and it would take a while to catch up. Theoretically anyways.

I can't think of a more timely show what with the referendum on independence coming up.

I started The Walking Dead when it first aired - the first 2-3 episodes - but didn't keep up. I understand it's gotten really good though, and would like to go back at some point.

Veronica Mars/Firefly. I...really have no idea of what the movie would be about, but I'd love to see Captain Mal being outsmarted by Veronica. \o?
