Premise
A century after Earth was made uninhabitable by a nuclear war, the survivors - descendants of the crews of several space stations orbiting at the time - send down a hundred teenagers to the surface in a desperate bid to find out whether it is habitable again. The teenagers, each convicted of (largely petty) crimes and thus "expendable", are now alone on a (supposedly) uninhabited planet while, on the Ark, the adults try and find a way to eke out their dwindling resources. Each group is split by opposing agendas and interpersonal conflicts, fighting to survive not just their environments as well as each other.

Murphy returns to camp claiming to have been held captive and tortured by the Grounders, and Clarke and Bellamy have very different opinions on how to handle his return. Octavia sneaks away to find Lincoln and returns with a serious warning for the 100. Meanwhile, a mysterious virus strikes camp forcing many to be quarantined, and Jasper pulls off a heroic move.

So, did they really kill off everyone on the Ark and in the pod? Obviously the pod went boom and there doesn't seem to be anything but wreckage left, but did the pod really take out the Ark too? That's pretty grim. Are the 100 (minus however many it is now) really the only ones left besides the native grounders?

Raven sensibly dumps Finn and it looks like Bellamy was right about what they should do with Murphy, huh, go figure.

The Arc crew are in the preview for next week so not dead just really really fracked.  That said I'm not sure I want the Arc crew to come down. I'm not sure they won't be no fun at all.  I kind of want the 85 (it was 14 graves right plus Murphy's victim) and the grounders to end up working together. 

I also want Lincoln to come back to help the 100.  And I want to know more about Grounders society and the Mountain Men (who I'm guessing are the descendants of the military people who holed up in the underground shelter the 100 were aiming for in the first episode). 

Finn is just annoying.  Raven and Clarke should just be done with him.  :)

Ah, okay. Hadn't seen the preview yet. I don't really want them to come down either, maybe they can just drop some supplies or something ;)

Is it 85? What about the ones who died earlier, like the little girl and the Chancellor's son...Can't remember if there was anyone else...oh that guy hit by the storm then had to be put out of his misery. They sent down 100, right? And two died on impact...Not sure if Bellamy is counted amongst the 100 since he sort of hitched a ride.

So many people keep dying!

I want to know more about the Grounders and the Mountain Men too, that should be interesting.

I didn't mind Finn as much in the beginning but now he's gotten extra annoying and wishy washy. Neither Raven or Clarke need that, they are stronger and better than that. I really like Raven.

I hadn't counted Charlotte and the others. According to this review the actual number is 77. So in 10 episodes they've managed to loose 23 people giving a death rate of 2.3 people per episode (not including grounders and the 300+ dead people on the Ark), man this show is bloodthirsty.

It really does have a high death rate, pretty crazy!
