Re: Episode 3x17: "The Jolly Roger"
Though I was amused to see his "pirating" on land thing. I'm pretty sure that's being a bandit, not a pirate...but whatever.
The Blackbeard thing seemed a bit anti-climactic. I loved seeing Ariel being badass. I was sad, but not surprised that he wouldn't give up his ship for Eric's location.
What hurt so bad was how much he was hurting from the stuff he had done. How much he regretted it.
What hurt that the Ariel in Storybrooke was actually Zelena...Fucking Cora and her kids and their disguise shit.
I hate that Hook is cursed now, with a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. I loved that he admitted his love for Emma out loud. I hate that it ended up being to Zelena.
I hate hate hate hate hate Zelena now.
I knew as a huge Hook fan and Captain Swan shipper that this episode would break my heart so much, but I didn't realize just how much.
Other thoughts: I'm not sure how good an idea it is for Emma to be learning magic from a currently "heartless" Regina...just saying.
David taking Henry driving! I loved Regina's reactions even better.
I loved Regina putting a protection spell around the Charmings' place. She's come a long way, hasn't she? Then again she has someone new to hate now!
I'm glad that Eric and Ariel are together now and outside of the curse's range.
Re: Episode 3x17: "The Jolly Roger"
Right? Blackbeard is so dangerous. And then... Hook walks up to him and he agrees to single combat for no apparent reason and then seems really eager to die. It was kind of cool though.
Fucking Cora and her kids and their disguise shit.
Seriously, stop it everyone!
I'm not sure Emma's magic lessons are the best idea either, but I'm enjoying them so very much I don't care.
I loved Regina's reactions even better.
Me too! Regina is being fantastic.
Didn't Pan do this "don't tell anyone else" thing twice with Hooks? Once about Neal being alive, and once with Charming and the poison? And both times Hook just went and told everyone? It was different, but still. Tell them! Tell them! You don't have to do this alone!
Re: Episode 3x17: "The Jolly Roger"
Yes, Pan did. Pan also used to say "Peter Pan never fails" just like Zelena says "Wicked always wins" and we see how well that went for Pan ;)
I think Hook was going to try and talk to David when he went to the apartment but Emma was there and he couldn't. Of course then David would be like...You shouldn't even be thinking about kissing my daughter...
Re: Episode 3x17: "The Jolly Roger"
Yeah, I had that thought too - I'm glad I can believe he at least came close. And, yes, David would. xD
