POLL about the Comm...

Question 1: How is everyone finding the new format? Do you think we need more than two posts a week for 'current tv' discussions with the Fall season coming up? Do you wish we still had the Homebase system? Something else?

Question 2: Last week I gave Haven it's own discussion post for it's premiere episode? Would you like to see more of these for other shows?

I do like the new format. In all truth, I have to confess that I wasn't too sure at first. The homebases seemed like a good idea but I deffo like how the TV shows are more integrated into the regular posts.

Maybe it'd be neat to have a thread for the popular shows in the posts? You could make a new thread per show (which, honestly, sounds like a lot of work).

Actually, I think what would be a better idea is to do a "new/returning shows" thread in the daily posts. All that people would have to do is then put the show's title in the subject line of their reply. That way, people could talk about Elementary or Scandal or whatever the show airing on Thursdays might be.

Everyone who participates (even if it's lurking) in this comm will (at one point or another) check out the day's post.

It's a tricky situation, that's for sure. Spoilers will remain a pain because we don't watch the shows at the same time. Unfortch, that's not going to change anytime soon.

Funnily enough, I went from being really into spoilers to avoiding as many spoilers as possible. I think part of the reason is because fans would come up with really cool theories that never came to happen.

Anyways, maybe someone else will comment and throw in more suggestions. :)

I like the idea that I can post on any current tv post about what's going on. It does seem like people don't comment a lot, but I didn't get many comments on my homebase post for Helix, either, so...

I liked the homebase system, but the new format works for me, too.
