Hello everyone!! Welcome to tv_talk & Thanks for joining! Since this comm will be more successful the more people that join, I'd love it if you invited your friends or promoted it if you get the chance :D

Each Saturday I'll try and post a social post, for talk about any TV show. I'm hoping to have a wind-back wednesday for older shows as well. But if you're ever interested in posting a post, feel free to let me know and i'm sure it would be fine.

3 favourite airing shows Man I'm not even sure what's counted as airing at the moment. Um... Defiance. Continuum (although I'm watching at UK speed). Scott and Bailey.
3 favourite cancelled shows Firefly. Dark Angel. Fringe.
Shows you love to talk about Glee (in that rapidly becoming hate hate instead of love to hate way). Defiance. Whedon-shows. TBH I have a tendency to be really flighty and jump from show to show at the moment.
Shows you are looking forward to in the new season Teen Wolf. Haven. Continuum. I'm curious about the SHEILD thing, if that's still happening. Sherlock (when is it coming back?) Luther.
Favourite TV characters Astrid Farnsworth. B'Elanna Torres. Original Cindy. Quinntana (although this may be the versions of them in my head rather than the versions of them in the show). Kenzi.

ah scott and bailey. i feel like this season wasn't as good as the others, but i loved the final!

I missed a couple this season but I did like the finale. I'm tempted to go back and rewatch the first couple of seasons again, you know, since I randomly bought them on DVD. :)

Yeah there was a bit too much about bailey's social life to be honest, but that's ok :D

There's always been that. In the first season it was the lawyer and the pregnancy. In the second it was her fuck-up brother. This season it was her rushed marriage and self-destructive tendencies. At some point she needs to grow up.

Its really amazing its taken this long for Janet to get really, really irked at her.

Oh I loved Original Cindy, and yes Kenzi! I can't believe I forgot her. :D She is such a complete delight!

I almost forgot her too. I think Lost Girl wasn't as good this year so I'm not as invested in that and its not as much at the forefront of my mind, but I do still adore Kenzi.

I actually enjoyed season 3 more than season 2, but a big part of that was Tamsin. I've loved her actor since she was Dinah on Birds of Prey. :D

Tamsin was awesome. I just thought... there were thing that just kind of went nowhere, like that whole dawning thing. It was built up and built up and then it was "shrug" and its done. It just didn't have enough of a pay off.

No I totally get what you're saying with the Dawning. But I've sort of come to expect that from Lost Girl and I'm mostly just there for the characters and the fun.

Characters are where its at with this show although I could do with more Kenzi and Tamsin. There was way too little Hale this year (and he was all dull and responsible and grown up and that was dull) but Dyson was better. I dislike Lauren so that was sort of an issue too.
