Nikitaaaaa :D So sad we're only going to get 6 more episodes
Also i can't believe i forgot to put Felicity on my list!

I'm heartbroken we're only getting 6 more eps, but at least they know ahead of time and they can send the show off right.

I've fallen so in love with Felicity and her fantastic foot-in-mouth personality :D

Man I do wish there'd been more Dark Angel. :( Find out what happened with Terminal City and its denizens.

I do too. It's almost hilarious, Dark Angel was canceled to make room for Firefly. Fox is evil.

There are some post series tie-in books that tell more of what the show planned. But I'm not real fond of them.

I'm not really a fan of tie-in books. I like books. I like tv shows and movies. I'm not overly interested in them weaving in and out of each other. I think because I'm never sure what the canon is any more and because it means that you can never be quite sure which version people are thinking of. Also, when I'm watching something visual, part of the appeal is the visual, is the soundtrack, is the actors and books just feel lacking while, when I've come to something through books, I have an image of how things look that the show can never quite meet.

And yet I really like adaptations. But they're not trying to add to a pre-existing universe, they're trying to show a different version of the same universe. Tie-ins are like trying to augment a pre-existing creature. Adaptations are instead distinct discrete objects, they're a cousin of the original instead of trying to claim being part of the original.

I think this comment may have gotten away from me somewhere. :S

hehe no I get what you're saying! I like novelizations of visual media. Like I would KILL to have novelizations of all the Spartacus seasons. Just so I could consume it that way.

Yeah and because sometimes I'd just like to sort of 'flip through' certain sections of the story and re-experience other parts and that's harder to do with a tv series. Also, I have to have the sound on the tv series so I can't listen to music at teh same time...stuff like that.
