How are there so many shows I've never heard of before?

I know, right? I only know because I've been researching the late spring/summer season shows (some sites post handy lists) for this community. I don't think I would have heard of any of these otherwise.

I didn't want to want to check this out but you had me at Neil Cross and John M. ;_; I wasn't convinced by the trailer but who knows?

This sounds so interesting! Black Sails really disappointed me, so I'll check this one out and hope it works better for me. :-) Thanks for this post - I hadn't actually heard of the show anywhere else!
