Poll Time!!!
There are a lot of shows out there and we currently work off of a list of about 90 shows at the moment. Many of these are on hiatus, others will be entering hiatus soon. Some will be returning and others are unlikely to. And of course there are always new shows.
We of course list all the shows that have homebases here at tv_talk. We also list shows that interest us as well as others that we think might be interesting and we try and add shows when suggested as well.
It can be hard to keep up with new shows though, and hard to anticipate what might be interesting to someone and we probably can’t really add everything.
We would like to know what you’re interested in seeing listed.

I’ve thought about having a post that we can link to at the end of round ups as well as in the links area where you could suggest shows you’d like to see in the round ups. Or even give a heads up on new shows you’ve heard about. Ect.

And while we’re having fun with Polls, I wanted to talk about Rewatch Saturdays.
Currently we have the Veronica Mars and Firefly Rewatches going on.
The thing is, very few people have been commenting. Comments have decreased to almost nothing (and in some cases actually nothing) as time has passed. I have also fallen behind on both rewatches, but I still make sure to put up the comment threads every week in case others want to comment and discuss.
How is everyone feeling about the rewatches?

One idea I had was that in the future, if we continue doing the rewatches, that we could just put all the comment threads up at once. This way everyone can watch and comment at their own pace. That could mean binge watching or it could mean taking months to finish a single season.
We would still do reminders for the rewatch show on Saturdays.

That brings me to shows that air on places like Netflix that put up all their episodes at once. The second season of Orange is the New Black is starting up this summer, and I know I’m interested in that and wouldn’t mind discussing it.
I think shows like that would work best…
with all the comment threads going up at once and people watching/commenting at their own pace.

TBH, I use the list as a reminder to go hunting for shows in places that are not airing live in prime time. It's like a great checklist.

I find that less of a concern with rewatches though. Netflix shows are generally about 13 episodes per season, so we're not even talking about a lot of threads. We could do a general discussion thread and then threads for the episodes.
Rewatches...are potentially longer but with less concern for spoilers, I think they could work as single posts, if enough people wanted that.
