I thought that premiere was excellent and I love what they're doing with the show!

So now the original timeline is destroyed completely because there was no Alec Sadler in the timeline were in since he went back. Does that mean once you time travel once you can't go back ever? I have about fifty other questions but I'll just stick with one here :)

Also I super loved the Kiera and Garza escape sequences even though they were erased or whatever because that timeline got destroyed!

Yeah, given that we know old Alec charged Garza with being his failsafe, I'm glad that she's still alive. And It will be cool that we'll see more of her working...well if not with then alongside of, Kiera. I like her. And I like that the entire Liber8 thing is sort of small potatoes now, but hasn't been resolved. And I like that Alec is sort of the major arc of the season!

I like Garza a lot too, she always seemed liked there was a lot more to learn about her in the first two seasons so I'm glad she's hopefully going to get more time this season.

Also yes very curious to find out what happens with Liber8 now. Will Kiera try to explain things to them and maybe try to get their help? And how will Julian be involved. (guh so many questions!)

Holy crap holy crap holy crap! Lol that's about the only thing I can say. They're being really logical about time travel and I can't wait to see this timeline play out. I really like that they've set it up so we have 'good' Alec and 'bad' Alec. It totally ties into the continuing theme of Alec being possibly good, possibly evil.

But yeah, all of the timeline branching is baking my noodle. If they've destroyed the 'original' timeline, then does that mean Kiera has to perfectly recreate it in order to get home to a world that has the exact same circumstances she left it in? And how will she know? The implication that she shot 'herself' in the head is so coldblooded, but did an excellent job of underlining her willingness to do the same to one of the Alecs.

And I loved the explanation for the tattoos between the fingers! It feels like this reveal was always in their endgame, which is amazing, considering it's coming so late in the run. Really impressive.

I know! I am so excited to see how they handle the two Alecs!

It seems almost impossible for Kiera to replace the timeline to what it was. I mean I guess it all depends on Alec, but yea there's no way she can know if she's on the right track with him? Because he clearly becomes a sort of shitty person in order for her future to happen right?

Also I'm anxious to find out whether she shot herself or not. I tend to imagine she didn't because she seemed willing to trust her 'other' self when she mentioned it with the freelancers.

I really need to watch this episode a few more times because I definitely missed exactly how she got the tattoos between the fingers! But it was amazing regardless.

Me too! This is definitely the kind of show that requires discussion :)

The finger tattoos were done off screen, the lady who explained stuff said, "come with me" right before she put her inside the giant chocolate orange? (that's what I think of when I see the time travel device)

And so now also we have established antique travel devices, modern ones, and tech that cuts across alternating realities. Is it possible that Kiera could travel ahead into the new timeline, to check her progress? Idk, but I agree, this ep is going to need a rewatch!

Thanks for explaining about the dots. I probably should have rewtached but I didn't get a chance to yet. Also totally forgot tonight there is a new one already. Yes!!

I probably missed a lot of details because I was too busy wondering what happened to the dog.

Put me in the mood for Pop Rocks, though.

Yeah I was hoping the dog was okay too.

And I have more of a reaction like Kiera's to pop rocks actually.

I was glad to see more Liber8 stuff this episode, I was afraid they were going to drop it. Curious to see what's going on with Maya/Emily too!

Her face when she realized that there are, in fact, two Alecs - priceless.

Can't wait for tonight's episode.

Glad there was more background on Travis. Despite him being a sort of shitty person, I do enjoy watching him and I was glad he didn't end last season. I feel like he could use more depth though still.

Regular suit wearing Alec is a total dick and that still feels sort of rushed. Black hoody Alec is clearly much more interesting, but of course that's because the audience can relate more to his motivations directly.

Also, I sort of feel like Dillon is a terrible person? He can be useful but he seems to have no problem being super shady, and now making his daughter be super shady too. I can't imagine that's going to end well at all.

Overall it was an okay episode, but I feel like the Liber8 stuff is sort of spinning wheels, especially when there's more compelling stuff happening with the Alecs and Kiera and Carlos.

lol, The Alecs. Sounds like a band. I didn't like some of the stuff I saw in the previews for next week, especially with Emily. You kind of have to wonder if things were always on this path, ya know? It's the funny thing about time travel. You have to go back in time to step on that rock in order for shit to happen in the future. Though I think they kinda confused things with that regard when they killed Matthew's grandmother. But like, what if, even in the future, there are two Alec Sadlers. They never said who ran Piron, ya know?

I think I'm confusing myself.

In which Kiera makes a choice.

I thought this episode was awesome, but there was so much more I wanted from an episode set primarily in the ~~past~~future!

HOLY HELL THE LAST FEW MINUTES OF THAT WERE AWESOME!!!

HOLY SHIT, YES!!!

I am so excited to see the next two episodes now but also disappointed there's only 2 episodes left after that!! (Also no news of renewal/cancellation yet!)

There are SO MANY places they can go with this, and all these characters, I'm looking forward to see what they do.

It makes me sad that it's for sure she's never going to see her son again. We kinda knew it any way but this just shows that things have changed too much already.

I hope it gets renewed,omg.

Good point. It's possible he doesn't even exist anymroe since that timeline is gone. Hopefully they'll have her address how she feels about realizing how the future changing affects what she left behind too.

I have no idea how Canada does its renewals but I hope they let us know soon!!

poor Sam, I liked him too.

The end of this season is continuing to be awesome. Sonya was awesome in this episode, but I am sad if she stays dead. Also glad to see the other Alec back in action.
