Simon hired them for the job…break into an alliance hospital.

Simon's a great doctor.
Jayne amazed at seeing how awesome he is.
But of course Jayne had ratted them out.
I love that end scene between him and Malcolm.
So sad.
I also loved Mal calling Simon and River part of his team, his crew :)
