A bit of a scattered week. Caught up on all of Dark Winds which I wrote about. Also watched Three Families (tough subject but well done), and a few episodes of Cannes Confidential, S1 and part of S2 of London Kills and The Ipcress File which I wrote about as well.
Caught up on Jeopardy, including the new Celebrity All Stars episode, and Daily Show. Can't believe Colbert is off yet again so close to the end.
Watched three more episodes of Star Wars Visions. Have never been able to get into this series. Obviously some episodes are better than others as it is an anthology. However while I can appreciate some of the animation, that's not what I want to watch for.
Am caught up with Daredevil and what I assume was the season finale of High Potential (lots of cliffhangers there). Have started Percy Jackson S2.
I managed to watch some stuff while I was traveling for work. Mainly I started my re-watch of Interview with the Vampire and watched five episodes. The first season never really clicked for me. Obviously I liked it enough to continue with S2, but I only got slightly obsessed during the second season. Now that I'm finally re-watching S1, I have only watched it once, right when it came out, I like it a lot more. It does kinda feel like I'm watching it for the first time since it's been so long. Having the background knowledge from S2 adds so much for me, as well.
I watched one episode of The Boys, but I'm still two episodes behind. I want to like this final season more than I actually do *shrugs*
Watson did not play out in the way I expected. The show it's a bit too much sometimes, but at least not too predictable?
Half Man isn't really the sort of thing I'm usually drawn towards what with how it focuses on men, but! I'm quite enjoying the rawness of it, kind of like seeing a living bloke dissected in real time. Sometimes you don't want to look but you can't help but go on looking, there's just something about it. It's definitely not for all audiences but I'm quite curious to see where next week's episode will take us in Niall and Ruben's lives.
My partner and I have one episode to go in Phantom Lawyer (Kdrama on Netflix), and it's fine. The romance is really not very romancey, but I'm more about the cases anyway.) We're also watching season 4 of Dark Winds (no spoilers, please) and original flavour Scrubs.
We have a weekly tv date with a friend where we're watching Deadloch season 2 (great fun) and People of Earth (one of my fav obscure sitcoms).
In Kdramas, I'm watching Absolute Value of Romance, which has gone from 'crack taken seriously' to 'crack taken extremely crackily' -- but I'm still enjoying it and looking forward to the latest episodes. (No spoilers!) And The Red Sleeve, a historical drama starring Lee Junho and Lee Se-Young, which is a fairly typical story elevated by my loving the main actors.
My sister and I have started the final season of Fringe, which feels a bit too much like Man in the High Castle, and Bluey. :-)
