Heard that Jeopardy will be starting a new show on YouTube with influencers. Presumably its archive will remain available, unlike regular Jeopardy which only stays on Hulu for 5 days. I don't know if professional productions have storage limits there?
Finished JFKJr. and Carolyn which really never went anywhere. I think all it showed by the end was how little material they had to work with.
Also finished S1 of The Puzzle Lady, The Gold, and All Creatures Great and Small. Looking forward to S2 of The Gold, wonderful series. All Creatures was what one has come to expect, which is fine by me. My thoughts about Puzzle Lady mostly veer towards wardrobe and decor, which, if I'm noticing it, already tells me it's unusual. Will probably write a little something about that this week.
Also finished Happiness, and as the final episode is about the opening night I had more fun with it. Still not sure I'm going to do a S2 but it depends on if they do another musical.
Saw another few episodes of Count of Monte Cristo, and I'm enjoying it more. I told my partner I am reminded of the opening to the Python lumberjack sketch with the bloodthirsty barber.
I am up to Ep 2 of The Copenhagen Test which looks like it might be twisty. I hope so because a lot of it is very flat for me so far. I am on the last episode of Day of the Jackal, which I have enjoyed quite a bit. It's a beautifully done production and I find it interesting how I go back and forth in who I'm rooting for. Never read the book or seen the original film so I've no idea where they're headed or how much they changed.
In movies, I saw Benediction, a film about the WWI poet, Siegfried Sassoon. I suspect that the director wanted to make the equivalent of a visual poem but the movie needed some coherence so we had segments from his life. My favorite part was his sessions with a therapist played by Ben Daniels. I wish at least half the movie had been that instead.
Also saw Song Sung Blue which I wrote about (warning: spoilers).
Given we now have Peacock (presumably for free) I am likely to start watching stuff from there, but the ads are driving me crazy. Will try to finish up a few things on Hulu and Disney+ as well.

Top End Bub (by an Aboriginal writer/actress, it's about a divorce lawyer whose nurse sister dies suddenly in a car accident, and she has to move to Darwin to take care of her niece)
I'm currently watching Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen, a Netflix horror miniseries. It's about an engaged couple who travels to visit the groom's family and marry in the family home. The first episode didn't fully convince me, but I thought it got a lot better with episodes 2 and 3.
Went to the cinema for Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die, and it's probably my favorite thing I've seen in 2026, so far. Very funny and freaky. A bit like PG 13-Cronenberg meets Black Mirror?
I've started watching Girl Rules, a new Thai GL. There's not much of an external plot; it's all about the messy relationships between these ladies. But I really like the first three episodes so far.
I stumbled across The Librarians while flipping channels on my TV last weekend, and that seems like a fun show. (I hear it's based on a movie? But I haven't seen it either.) I'm gonna try to catch a few more episodes tonight.
Did anyone watch season one of Alien Earth? I know I'm late, but I wondered what everybody thought of it. I hear season two starts filming in May. I'm looking forward to it. My hubby is in shock that I liked it. I watched all the episodes in two nights.
I was surprised to find myself watching Alien Earth, too. What I said on my journal was "(which was engaging and funny in a lot of ways, and also, you know, HORROR. *covers eyes* Idk if I'll come back for season 2)." FWIW. ;)
A couple more episodes of The Madison, which continues to be extremely pretty but I'm not sure it has anything to say beyond "country living is better than living in the city", which eh.
The Pitt -- the week-by-week release is undercutting the tension, and it's still REALLY TENSE.
The third episode of RJ Decker. We're giving up on it. It's fine, but not worth the time.
Scrubs (we've gone back to the start), Cheers, Paper Girls, another episode of Dinosaur, more of Fringe season 4, and Bluey.
In Kdramas, I finished Undercover Miss Hong last night. It's fun, though I felt it lost steam towards the end. Nearly finished my rewatch of One Spring Night. Not sure what I'm watching next.
