Ooh, that's great to hear about Zootopia 2. I loved the first one.

Man on the Inside was renewed for a third season! I love the show, but isn't it great that Netflix renews the one show that manages to complete its stories within a season? To be honest, I suspect the show is pretty cheap to make while a show like Kaos was a lot more expensive. That probably plays a big role. I also suspect that The Diplomat is relatively cheap which is why it'll soon be on S4.

I finished the second season of Fallout. It exists, I suppose. It wasn't awful, but I feel like there was too much crammed into it. Sometimes I would completely forget about Norm, we would cut to his story line, barely get anything out of it, and he was done again for the episode. There was so much going on, they didn't have time to flesh anything out besides what Lucy and Howard were doing. The flashbacks were definitely my favorite thing this season and I would have loved to see more of Steph's past.

Abbott Elementary's Valentine's Day episode was fine, but once again, I wonder why O'Shon and Ava are a thing. They are awful together and there is nothing funny about how she treats him.
Speaking of awful couples, Tariq is an okay character by now, but the "jokes" about Janine's past relationship with him are also not funny. I honestly thought it got kinda dark when she started panicking about paying rent for a bigger apartment.

I mentioned the movie last week and actually watched People We Meet on Vacation. I'm not the biggest romcom fan, but I like Emily Bader and she had decent enough chemistry with Tom Blyth. It's under two hours and not too bad *shrugs*

You're probably right about costs and renewals. We still haven't finished the latest season of either show but plan to this month.

Keeping up with The Pitt and enjoying it despite the gross-out factor.

Started SurrealEstate, but we're only two episodes in. Seems really fun so far. I like the ensemble.

Watched all of MCU's Wonder Man and really liked it! It's a Hollywood/aspiring actor story about the redeeming power of friendship, and the cast is fantastic. The ending was a little rushed, but that's okay.

Finished We Are Lady Parts season 2. I could watch them forever.

And last night we were going to start the latest season of The Lincoln Lawyer, but instead we watched half of the Naomi Watt film, The Friend. Very quiet, melacholy and lovely. (TW: off-screen suicide.)

In Kdramas, I finished Can This Love Be Translated? for which the ending was just bonkers. But I enjoyed it up till then, and the male lead was a sweetheart. So good to see him smiling more as the show progressed.

Now I'm watching Beyond the Bar, a law show with some pretty brutal/gritty elements, eg, child abuse, sexual harassment. I don't know that it's good, but I'm definitely finding it compelling.

I look forward to seeing Wonder Man! It'll have to wait until this month's Netflix rush is done, but it's good to know I'll have things to see once that happens.

I'm still really enjoying Starfleet Academy so far. I think all the characters are delightful and these early episodes have been good for establishing who they are and why they're here. The episodes have all still felt very Star Trek-like to me, despite the school setting being different than a more typical Trek series.

Miss Scarlet continues to disappoint me this season 😩 The romance is being prioritized over the mysteries, and it's just not hitting for me. There are only two more episodes left though.

Saw another episode of The Diplomat, caught up on Jeopardy, and am still making my way through Great British Baking Show. Still impresses me what the bakers are able to produce.

About to finish Bodkin, which I think Netflix really mislabeled. Am going to finish Eric in the next few days. Rather depressing stuff but I was curious about how much it would reveal. Am currently watching Sandokan: The Pirate Prince, which has a female lead who reminds me very much of Jodie Comer. The first episode or two didn't impress me much but it's getting more interesting.

Finished all of Discovery of Witches. I hadn't been that into the first season, but the second really broadened out the world building, which is what had grabbed me. And that expanded even more in S3. It still struck me as very much a YA story, and there's a big group of characters, many of whom are hardly developed. But I did like the story.

Tried out two episodes of Jekyll and Hyde and had to give up on it because I thought the writing was really pedestrian.

Also finally finished Wallace and Grommit: Murder Most Fowl. Neat and tidy!
