Thank you for sharing that Whoopi quote! I will NEVER look at Star Trek the same way again! :) I've always had respect for it -- but now, SUPER respect and for a character I didn't really like when I was first introduced to her! (Didn't care for the pairing they seemed to thrust her in. Far more of a Spock/Kirk fan.)

I agree that Spock/Kirk makes more sense.
