WATSON takes place six months after the death of the titular character’s friend and partner Sherlock Holmes at the hands of Moriarty. The show stars Morris Chestnut as Dr. John Watson, who resumes his medical career as the head of a clinic dedicated to treating rare disorders. Watson’s old life isn’t done with him, though – Moriarty and Watson are set to write their own chapter of a story that has fascinated audiences for more than a century. WATSON is a medical show with a strong investigative spine, featuring a modern version of one of history’s greatest detectives as he turns his attention from solving crimes to solving medical mysteries.

Hmmmm - that show looks a little bit like a nicer version of House. I wonder if it will be something I can find in the UK?

I've seen other people compare it to House, that's why I'm interested. I've read that it should be available on Paramount+ in some countries. Here in Germany, it isn't (or maybe just not yet?) available.

I assume this is the official blurb? I'm confused by the wording -- no offense to Watson, but he's not "one of history's greatest detectives" and it seems kind of shitty for Morris Chestnut if viewers are just waiting for Holmes to show up.

I thought the same thing. And yes, it's a direct quote from the video description. I wouldn't be surprised if they're banking on people waiting for Holmes to appear.

I have not seen it but I did see a title card for it, maybe on Hulu? I was curious about it but it sounds a bit like Forever in that it's essentially a procedural with a twist on it.
