about the Catherine dislike (because that's what it is for me), it's more about how the actress has interacted with fans of the show who, for whatever reason, dislike the character. Sadly, that's bled over into my dislike of Catherine. Season 1 and 2, I was indifferent towards her. Then she's suddenly given more storyline opportunities than other characters (and yes, I know the actors more than likely had other things they had to do and the powers that be needed to fill that in), then she was coming across as too perfect one minute and the next lying and keeping secrets for weeks and only coming clean when there was a high possibility the truth would have come out.

Basically, the way she was written leaves a lot to be desired.

That's why I try these days to stay away from any real-life knowledge of any actors on my shows! They too often turn out to be jerks and it does color your enjoyment of their work.

The show itself seems quite uneven in a number of ways, so there is that. I'm just hoping the ratings keep strong enough so it's not cancelled. Whatever its flaws (and I think there are valid complaints to be had) I do still enjoy it!
