TV Tuesday: The One

The Colbert Questionnaire has a question about what one song you would pick if you could listen to no other music for the rest of your life. What one TV series would be that pick for you?

I'd probably choose something like Stargate SG1 or Law and Order SVU. Maybe even Doctor Who. I love all those shows and they are super long with lots of seasons/episodes. Doctor Who has around 880 episodes if you include classic Who. SVU has over 500. SG1 has over 200.

I just finished a rewatch of SG1 so I think my instinct is to go with SG1 because that show is just awesome with very few episodes I don't like. And unlike the others, its also strangely hopeful too. Like overall, despite numerous alien incursions, earth generally wins. And its very light and comedic at times too. So with 200+ episodes I could watch an episode a day and it would take around seven months to watch.

Probably be Buffy. Then I might finish the fic I started. And just about every body who crossed the screen can have a story written about them.

Or maybe Dr Who.

I thought of those exact two options. I love Buffy to pieces, and there's a lot to think about. Or Who just for the length, as well as lots of great moments.

omg that's a tough one. I'm tempted to say Heartstopper.

Although of course it would be more prudent to pick a show with more episodes - something truly epic, like Taskmaster, or Star Trek TNG, or Brooklyn Nine-Nine, or even The Simpsons.

Such a tough choice.
