Speak Up Saturday: What are you watching?

It's another Saturday and once again we're asking what you've been watching over the past week and what you think of it.

We also have a question about the format for Speak Up Saturday. The mods originally planned to do a variety of topics -- which might pop up as polls on Tuesdays or questions on Saturdays. However there was an enthusiastic response to our first "What are you watching?" with a request for more.

Would readers prefer to have this same question every Saturday? A short poll:

Poll #29888 Speak Up Saturday Topics
Open to: Registered Users, detailed results viewable to: All, participants: 23

Should Speak up Saturday vary its options?

Are you in it for the medical mystery? As someone who's missing House, MD as well, I'm curious what about The Good Doctor scratches your House itch.

Both shows definitely have the same "vibe". And fantabulous soundtracks!!! Hugh Laurie is one-of-a-kind and Dr. House will forever be one of the greatest small screen characters ever brought to life. I find I'm watching it for the secondary characters and not the main. It's easy watching, without the commercials it's a quick view and three episodes fill my evening viewing need. I do love a formulaic medical drama and this is THAT!

Something that scratched part of my House itch, though I'm still due a rewatch, was Code Black , a medical drama focused on the cases and team set in the ER of a Los Angeles hospital.

Maybe you might enjoy that, too (it's on Disney+, has three seasons and is complete).

Good to know as The Good Doctor is next on my list of shows to check out.
