Yeah, the limited release is rather frustrating. I get waiting for it to be on a subscription service like Netflix (encourages people who really really want it to pay to watch it early) but not planning on releasing it like everything else is just annoying.
Maybe it's some sort of experiment for future revenue or something.

I think it is an experiment. Or a bait and switch sort of thing to get people to get interested in it enough to want to pay their $5.99 a month just for the show. I understand it's probably an expensive show, but just admit to that outright, and put it all on a PPV that's reasonable.
