a random 'what have you been watching lately' post

i've been watching a ridiculous amount of tv in the past 2 months to make up for the fact i've barely watched any in the past 5 years.

most recently:

- all episodes of steven universe
- hbo's the jinx
- all 3 episodes aired of syfy's olympus
- the first season of wgn's salem and about to start on the 2nd season
- 1st episode of s2 of penny dreadful

How's Olympus? I've been eyeing that.

I've been doing a Psych rewatch with my friend. We're on season 3. There's also current TV stuff. Nashville, The Vampire Diaries, FINDING CARTER!! NCIS: Los Angeles. Outlander has started up again.

so far, olympus is pretty flavorless. it reminds me of a blander version of legend of the seeker (and that show had better scenery, too).

maybe with a few more episodes the hero's quest portion of the show will grow out of the basic hero with a thousand faces mold, or at least add some topping.

Still playing the catch-up game with some current TV shows but I've also marathoned the first two seasons of Mr. Selfridge and the first season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (which was awesome). The next one on my list is Daredevil.

Currently watching the latest Community and looking forward to watching the next B99 (it's been weeks since the last ep and I can't wait).

i keep meaning to catch up on b99 and i keep being distracted by fictional witches.

i should add unbreakable kimmy schimidt to my to-watch list as well.

Playing catch up with 4 weeks of backlog from airig shows, and I just finished Crisis which is pretty excellent. Hot season 5 on Gilmore Girls recently.

I finally watched all of Agent Carter and I've got my eye on season 3 of Buffy.
