Really, it's pretty? That... unexpected. Is it basically more of SPN or is it's own thing? I'm worried that it's going to mess up canon in my head. Also, what. What. Jared does Sam's voice but Jensen doesn't do Dean's? D: I'm scared now.

well, I don't know if 'pretty' is the right term. I think the first episode was kinda bloody. But, it's an animated representation of Dean, Sam and the Impala so *I* personally find it pretty.

It's basically a retelling of the live action series season 1, a little out of order and not the same exact episodes - but the same themes. Shapeshifters, MOTW, etc. Sam's voice being 'Sam' and Dean's voice being 'not!Dean' did throw me off. Also, I don't watch any Japanese anime or anything so I don't know how it compares or... basically I have no idea if it's 'good' or not. I did not watch the entire series, I couldn't get through it. Although I've been thinking of giving it another try during the hellatus.
