Mummy on the Orient Express was my favorite episode of the season so far, so fun! even if it undermined clara's justifiable outburst at the end of Kill the Moon. i wish they'd show us 12 and clara patching up things a bit before MotOE.

and now full on spoilers for MotOE - rewatching that bit, i think i'm in agreement with some meta i read that 12's monologue to the soldier mummy and then his talk with clara at the beach makes it seem like this doctor isn't all that happy about his new set of regenerations. that maybe he feels like he's lived too long and he's tired.

stuff & things: 1. the full super cute cover of don't stop me now that foxes sang in the episode; 2. beeeeest gifset.
