THE WALKING DEAD Returns Sunday October 12th


The Walking Dead Season 5 premieres on Sunday, October 12 at 9/8c on AMC. As in previous seasons, the series’ fifth season of 16 episodes will air in two-parts, with the first eight hours kicking off October 12 and the final eight episodes returning February 2015.

This is one of the very few current shows that I watch as it airs (the others being Doctor Who and The Mentalist), and my relationship with it is very much a love-hate one.

I had to check what I thought about the show when it went to hiatus (my episode reaction posts, in case anyone's interested) because I can go from liking the show to hating it within two episodes :) But looks like I like it and am even in the rare situation where I don't hate any of the characters (there have been times when I've hated them all...).

(can't really say that I love any of the characters either, though - Michonne is my favourite, but she's criminally underused)

I started watching this because a local station started airing 2 episodes every week on Wednesdays. I watch one on tv then the other by streaming on netflix. I'll probably continue to watch that way since I don't have cable.
