Favorite moment: Anything with Hill, anything with Melinda May Favorite character based on the pilot: Melinda May, Hill because obviously - I was actually cool with all of the characters, though I can see Ward getting on my nerves if they don't develop him past the lone-wolf/company man type and soon MOTW: Not sure about the monster-of-the-week formula but as long as they keep sprinkling in the mythology, it should be okay. Alum: RON GLASS! I don't know if I knew he'd be in it and just forgot or if I missed that announcement but I was EXCITE!!! Ron and J. August Richards were both excellent. IDK if I saw anyone else. Overall Opinion: I liked it but probably not as much as some people. I don't really care about the Avengers-verse (though I'd watch anything with Hill) but I'm a Whendonverse fan in general and this had that typical Whedon feel, what with the dialogue and the team-building. It has the potential to be awesome but I'm cool if I never get beyond the 'this is a fun ride with cool characters' stage.
Side-note: I've seen people compare both May and Skye to Eliza Dushku's Faith and I just don't really get that. Yes, May kicks ass in Faith-esque costumes and Skye has that Faith-attitude but neither one struck me as a Faith-doppelganger or anything.
