Monday's Current TV Discussion Post!!!

It's time to talk about currently airing shows again!!!

Some shows that have aired since our last current shows discussion post:
[if you want to talk about events in earlier episodes, please feel free]

Extant 1x12
Graceland 2x13 [already discussing HERE]
Legends 1x05
Haven 5x01 [already discussing HERE]
The Knick 1x05
Doctor Who 8x04
Outlander 1x06
Manhattan 1x08
Masters of Sex 2x10
The Strain 1x10

[among other things, I'm sure]

I'll put some threads up for some of these shows.
Feel free to talk about any of the current shows you are watching.

Try and keep things non-spoilery unless you want to do spoiler text by turning the text white.

How to do spoiler text on DW:

Use white text. Remember to include beginning/closing brackets and/or other demarcations, so people will know there's a spoiler there, not just a bunch of random white space.

[Spoiler:your spoilery text]

produces this: [Spoiler:your spoilery text]

Please feel free to make a comment thread for any show you would like to discuss!

So votes on whether [Spoiler:there was a monster/alien in this episode or not? The end seems to say no, it was all in the Doctor's mind, but what about the thing on young!Danny's bed, or the mysteriously appearing words on the chalkboard?]

moving my comment cause I didn't realize what you were doing, LOL.

I am SOOOO torn between wanting to rush ahead in the book to see what happens or just take it slowly and don't read ahead. But I tried doing that with Game and Thrones and before season 1 ended I was already on book 2... I have no willpower, okay?

But I am LOVING this show. And Jamie is a WOOBIE and I love him and his hot Scottish accent.

I am in love. It mixes together some of my favorite elements. I'm a sucker for flashbacks and period pieces (not fantasy, but historic, you know?) and it blends it together soooo nicely. It also gives us so much history and I like when you can learn ACTUAL history instead of a fabricated one for world building.

Based on what I've seen so far, it's perfect for binging. If you want to wait a few more eps then watch them all in one go, haha. Also, the theme song is addicting.

I gave up on MoS a few episodes ago. It's just so more of the same which makes me mad because the female characters in this are sooooo good. I don't know, maybe I should resume watching.

I hear you. I feel like I'll catch up whenever I see an article about something the show got right or something. That's how I binge watched Parenthood last year for example. I was like four seasons behind and I read an article about one episode had handled racism pretty well and I watched the entire show in a week.

My mom watches this and it was... kinda weird, but then she spoiled me for who the baddie really was (because she's read the book) and it ruined it for me.
