Use white text. Remember to include beginning/closing brackets and/or other demarcations, so people will know there's a spoiler there, not just a bunch of random white space.

Specific episode discussion
General discussion on how this season is going on a particular show.
Just talk about what current shows you've been watching this summer if you'd like.
Do you have any favorites amongst the summer shows that are airing right now?
I'll make threads for True Blood and Graceland, since that's what I'm caught up with. Please feel free to make a comment thread for any show you would like to discuss!

Graceland Discussion Thread:
Please show, don't break my heart!

Re: Graceland Discussion Thread:
And I'm so worried about Johnny down there in Mexico!!!
And OMG! Paige knows or suspects what Mike did and I can't see that ending well at all!
The team is not in good shape at all and I'm so worried that everything is going to go wrong for everyone!!!]
Re: Graceland Discussion Thread:
I'm anxious to find out what happens with Briggs and this tape, because they did this set up SO long ago and it would have been annoying if they let him get away unscathed. Though wtf on Juan for pulling a stunt like that with a fucking drunk FBI agent! THE GUY IS TRAINED TO KICK YOUR ASS!!
Paige definitely knows what's up and this will destroy all trust she has for Mike. It would have cost Mike nothing to tell her the truth and admit he failed. This whole operation was doomed from the get go.
Do we have 1 more ep or 2?]
Re: Graceland Discussion Thread:
I think Juan was really foolish and wrong to pull that stunt. I don't think he deserved to end up dead of course, but he had to know it was a possibility. Even if Briggs hadn't been drunk, he had some real PTSD issues with that whole thing and may still have reacted the same way.
Part of me worries that the corrupt cops with have the info on Briggs and use it to drag him into their drama for real with the threat of revealing the info if he doesn't go along with them.
Mike made bad decisions on that whole thing from the beginning. He was thinking of the bust over the lives of innocent people and that sucked. He should have listened to Paige in the first place and yeah his lie was stupid too and is just going to dig him in deeper.
Originally I felt bad for that poor guy who was living there with them in the beginning of the season…how he got kicked out when Mike came in. But now I'm thinking that he was lucky to get out while he could!]
Re: Graceland Discussion Thread:
I find it funny that they use that red camera filter for all the Mexico stuff, LOL. Like things in Mexico are automatically the color of dirt.]

True Blood
Anyone else all caught up?
Have any thoughts?
My no-spoilery reaction to the finale and to the last season as a whole is that I was incredibly underwhelmed.
I'll comment with more spoilery thoughts later...
Re: True Blood
Things I'm glad about: Pretty much the only person who died at the end was Bill. That was good. Jessica lives on, Jason lives on. Eric and Pam continue on and are awesome together, that was nice. Lafayette lives!!! I am very happy about that.
Some of my issues: So much of this season was pointless. Why did they drag out everything so long? Why drag out Bill's death? Why couldn't Bill kill himself? Why have Sookie help him? Why do that to her?
The whole unknown person Sookie ends up with….whatever.
Ugh. I don't know. I was expecting more I guess, though I'm not sure why.

Re: True Blood
I really don't know what's worse: that Bill's flashbacks ate up A LOT of time per episode (all for nothing); that Lafayette had no dialogue (considering that he's a member of the original cast); Tara's whole storyline (really, show? REALLY?); that the show kept shoving Bill/Sookie at the viewers even though many of the fans had moved on...
Also, what's up with the super saccharine ending? I mean, I'm very happy to see that my faves (Pam, Eric, Lafayette, Jessica, and Jason) made it out alive to the end. OTOH, the Jessica/Hoyt wedding pretty much came out of nowhere (and how come Hoyt had no problems with the glamouring?) and I didn't care about Jason and Hoyt's ex-gf.
I remember being a huge fan of the show up to S4. And then, the show kinda got wonky. But I kept watching because there usually was something to keep me hooked. In all truth, I watched this season only because it was the last. Yet, after sitting through what amounts to 10-hrs of TV, I don't really get what TPTB were aiming at.
To me, they painted themselves into a corner with the Hep-V plot and couldn't really make up their mind as to where to take the show. It's a good thing that they brought it back to Bon Temps. However, once they got all the characters back there, they didn't give them much to do nor any kind of story lines that would add up in a cohesive way.
It's really disappointing because, truthfully, this show could've gone out in a really high note instead of the sad trombone of its series finale.
TL;DR: The series finale was terrible and boring. Good-bye, True Blood, you won't be missed. :| ]
Re: True Blood
I don't even see the point of Bill's flashbacks. I know I complained earlier a bit about the weird Eric and Pam flashbacks but seeing how the show ends they make a bit of sense but Bill's were just a waste of time in my opinion.
I know I loved the show in the earlier seasons but sometimes I'm not sure if I would have loved it as much if it weren't a summer show. I know in the later seasons I kept thinking I'd drop it, but then it was summer and there wasn't much else on and I always ended up giving in.
I guess if they wanted us not to miss the show once it was gone, the finale could be seen as a success. ]
