Wednesday's Current TV Show Discussion Post

Some recently aired shows:
Dallas 3x09
Teen Wolf 4x09
The Fosters 2x10
Under the Dome
Covert Affairs 5x09
Pretty Little Liars 5x11
Rizzoli & Isles
Unfortunately these are shows either don't watch or am a season (or many) behind in.
I still haven't watched Sunday's shows either.
Feel free to talk about any of the current shows you are watching.
Try and keep things non-spoilery unless you want to do spoiler text by turning the text white.
How to do spoiler text on DW:
Use white text. Remember to include beginning/closing brackets and/or other demarcations, so people will know there's a spoiler there, not just a bunch of random white space.
[Spoiler:<span style="color:white;background:white;">your spoilery text</span>]
[Spoiler:your spoilery text]
Possible topics:
Specific episode discussion
General discussion on how this season is going on a particular show.
Just talk about what current shows you've been watching this summer if you'd like.
Do you have any favorites amongst the summer shows that are airing right now?
Oh, and here's a bit of renewal news:
* Ray Donovan and Masters of Sex have been renewed for third seasons.
* Halt and Catch Fire will be getting a second season.

The Fosters
Spoiler stuff:
[ After all that they've been through and all the shit that's been going on, I cannot see how Brandon and Callie would kiss at the end. I get it, she's upset, BUT GUYS, YOU KNOW BETTER! And what was with Sophia locking herself in the bathroom? o.O ]
Finding Carter
Gravity Falls!
Halt and Catch Fire was renewed?
(We all thought it was awful.)
Now, if you're talking Silicon Valley ... now, there's a Season 2 we're eagerly looking forward to.
Re: Halt and Catch Fire was renewed?
I know, I was so surprised. I wanted to add on "for no explicable reason" but didn't want to offend anyone who might have liked it. I watched a few episodes but couldn't keep doing that to myself and had to stop, even though I generally like Lee Pace.
I never checked out Silicon Valley, maybe I should have.
Re: Halt and Catch Fire was renewed?
TBH, it's not really fair to compare H&CF to Silicon Valley, which (considering that the latter came from Mike Judge) was intended to have an entirely different, satirical/comic vibe. And I'll admit that there were times when we felt the humor/satire on SV pushed too hard and fell flat as well, but I guess we're more forgiving of that in a comedy. *g* Happily, Silicon Valley was also renewed. If you can catch it I definitely recommend a watch. I can't think of the last show that, more than once, literally made me laugh so hard I was in tears.
