Randomly, I feel bad for not engaging more, but I'm very rarely current (for example, I just finished S.H.I.E.L.D. this weekend)

I'm always going back and commenting on old threads. AT LEAST THE PERSON WHO POSTED THE HOMEBASE WILL SEE MY COMMENTS, LOOOL.

I know the feeling :( I find it hard, and i'm wondering if trying without the home-bases is the way to go. Would you think you would be likely to make your own post and be like hey i'm up to date, who wants to talk about X?

Just throwing an idea out there, what about something like a meme? Where there is just one post and someone can post a new comment for a new episode of a certain show, and people can reply to it and discussion could be found there. But then right below it could be the discussion comments for another new show?

I like this. I think I'd like a 'what have you watched this week' post as well as spontaneous posts when you feel like talking about the latest ep of X (like your meme idea). Special 'finale' or 'premiere' posts might be nice too.

@timetobegin: I can't commit to anything daily as I'm admining other comms but I could do some of these.

While I don't really have the time required to help with modding duties at the moment, I would like to see this community continue to flourish. If there are any small tasks that can be delegated or any other ways to contribute to keeping this place running, please do let me know. Thanks!

Aww that's great, i'm glad people are open to it.

While i think it might be easier to go without the home-base system, i think it would be great if just people posted when they had a topic to talk about - so while we figure out how this comm is going to go do feel free to post whenever about tv!! It would be great to see some discussion going.

What if we assign people to do roundups on a certain day of the week. That way we can spread out the obligations?

I'm thinking that. I'm also wondering if the home-base option is probably not the best? I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO.

What does modding for the comm entail, what kind of time commitment are you looking for?

Not sure yet, to be honest. I think the system needs an overhaul. how much time would you have, if you were interested? My biggest issue is that i can't do things every day AND i'm not in a US timezone, so i'm not always the best person to do certain things

I could give about an hour every day, even on weekends (barring emergencies or vacation or something, obvs), and I am in the US. It's possible I could do more than that, in a pinch, but I don't want to commit to necessarily more than an hour.

I haven't modded a discussion community before, but I do mod the mini_wrimo challenge every year and I mod for supernaturalfic and I've modded other comms before.

Sounds good! i think it'd be good if we can get a few people to post a couple of times a week, and then everyone makes posts as well!
