I actually thought that S3 was previously announced, but more offcial is always good.

There had been no official word prior to this, it had been assumed that it would most likely be renewed and in interviews they talked like it was a given but nothing had been official until now :)

I didn't doubt it's renewal, but it's nice to know for sure.
