BATTLE OF THE SHOWS : VOTE

This first round of voting is to ensure that we have 16 of each show. We've already only got 16 comedies & sci-fi shows, so its up to you to vote on the 23 Crime and 21 Drama shows to produce a top 16.

- The 16 shows from each poll with the Most votes will go forward
- So vote for as many as you like, but vote for your favourites
- Bring your friends to vote!
- Voting will be open until Sunday EST (probably around 6pm but that's an estimate)

Yup,same. H50,Graceland,Longmire,White Collar and The Mentalist are former shows of mine. But crime procedurals bore me in general when the focus is more on cases than the characters!

I watch...9 of them on a regular basis and have seen a few episode of 2 more. But pretty much all of them would be better on a spaceship.

And Jim Beaver is becoming the next Mark Sheppard *points to icon on theory of how that happened* because he's in everything lately. YES EVEN LONGMIRE - so since it has Bobby and Starbuck and MR. LA BAMBA (Lou Diamond Phillips), you kind of have to vote for it, right?

Hit & Miss has:

1. Chloe Sevigny
2. ...who stars as a pre-op MTF transsexual
3. ....who is an assassin/hitwoman
4. ....who finds out she has a son from when she was a man
5. ...and her former girlfriend (kid's mom) just died, leaving her the caregiver.
6. Also, it has an amazing soundtrack.

Okay, how is Breaking Bad not kicking total ass? It is the BEST SHOW ON TELEVISION EVER, and I am a notorious waffler. When people ask me to name my favorite anything or top five anything, I freak out.

But not anymore when it comes to television.

No other show has done what BB has done, taking a character and following his/her arc to darkness (rather than redemption)--more than one character, if you count more than Walt.

It's never had a bad episode (pardon the pun) or a dull moment. It's tense, surprising, funny, sad, visceral.

It's terrifically written, acted, shot, directed, scored.

If nothing else, give it a vote for Skyler White, who takes so much misogynistic crap in this fandom it's horrifying.
